Can we make a sticky on how to ID hackers?

I think if more people were better educated on how to "properly" ID hackers then it might result in a better playing experience. Also it would probably cut down on some of the work for the mods, I'm sure they're overloaded from the countless hackusations that occur. I'm usually playing CF everyday for at least an hour or two and I've observed that most players who are accused of hacking are not hackers at all.


The most common hackusation I've seen are "walling" and "chamming". In many cases these so called hacks are just by-products of playing an online game, because the game runs on a slight delay (more or less depending on the ping of the players on the map) it can seem as if players are shooting through walls. When in reality the actual shot was made in the open but it appears to be through a wall because of the delay time.


Anyway, just thought I would throw this out there. Hopefully some of the more experienced (and level headed) players can add some knowledge to this thread. If we can weed out a lot of the useless accusations then the mods can concentrate on exposing the real hackers and maybe even work on a better way to prevent hacks in the future.

If they get more than a 6.0 kdr at the end of a game 10% chance it was pure luck 90% chance it was chams.

Most people that use the forum don't cry hacker all the time and can actually identify real ones. They don't really need this.

That is really not true, i use AWM, and i can get 10.0 kdr in power plant and 30.0 kdr in ghost mode, my only wepon is sniper 22-25 status 90+ fps.. i dont hack. so it is possible --LastAvenger

Ok let me make this clear to you, im a 1337ist and if your a noob, you are beneath me, in this game if you are decent you can easily get 2.0 kdr overall with 20,000+ kills.

When i see some fking choob with 20,000 kills and 18,000 deaths getting a 30-5 in a match, im gonna call cham and ask him to be kicked.

Why would you even believe that is legit? ASSASSINGT17 look him and his kdr up, i played 2 matches with this punk and he got over 10.0 kdrs in both with an Ak.

Besides being on his team and watching him aimbot corpses, You gonna tell me things like that are luck?

Also, a guide on how to ID cheaters is kind of a bad concept as everyone has their own style of play. Of course if someone is just shooting through a box at people miles away, thats obvious. If someone prefires someone a mile away, thats obvious. Aimbotting is obvious, etc.

Calm down there is a big diference between BR and PT
PT and BR are both portuguese but BR from Brasil and PT from Bortugal its the same like USA and UK

I'm currently 12,209k/13,863d but routinely put up 1.5-2.5 k/d in Egypt without hacking. I just upgraded my weapons, and am an absolute terror with the AWM on the Egypt map. Calling cham on me would be ridiculous. Some of us just started off poorly until we invested in better weapons.

There are plenty of folks who hack, but I'm not calling cham on someone who puts op 3.0 k/d every time. I look at the folks who are putting up 90 kills in a 12 minute match with a dozen deaths. It seems too much to be simple skill, you just don't face 90 shooters without dying more often than that.
