Problem during installation

Hm, try downloading the game from a different mirror or site. So for example, you downloaded it from mirror 1, perhaps theres an error in the provider, so just download from mmosite or mirror 2 or something. Im not sure if their from the same source though, hmm..

I found solution:
1. When setup displays this error, klick Ignore. The installation will be finished.
2. Go to folder, where CF is installed and open: patcher_cf.exe. Game Guard will update and game will start without any problems.
But when I want to play CF, I have to do step 2- always...
Maybe it will help someone too... I hope that z8games will do better game client in future. -
You can temporarily disable nod32 by right clicking on the antivirus icon in your system tray (next to the clock) and select 'disable realtime file protection'.
To the original poster: if you set up an exception for the entire crossfire folder in your antivirus, you shouldn't have that problem again. -

You can also try to download it again from another Mirror like the Alternative Download Mirrors or these Mirrors, when its still not runing:
