It is.
1.) You are basically just waiting for the Enemy's Name to appear on your screen.
2.) You press Right Click and left Click very fast
3.) And voila, the enemy is no more.

You're an idiot. Clear cut. Do snipers really have to 2 shot to kill people? LOL no.
Not my fault you're dumb enough to walk into the line of fire of someone hardscoping, or be that slow w/ a rifle you can't kill someone before he peaks trying to quickscope. Because it's slower than a rifle. Yeah you can possibly get the first shot on a guy and get the kill if you're decent, but say 4 people are rushing site and you have an awp.. It would be much better with a rifle.
I'm tired of people saying the AWM is OP. If so, then headshots are OP aswell! -

Now for that debate. The AWM is OP for two simple reasons:
1). 100 HP damage anywhere to the upper body. It doesn't matter if you hit the head, the chest, the gut or the arms. Upper body means instant kill. There is no margin of error, like with the Dragunov for example, that forces you to aim for harder-to-hit vital areas.
2). Quick Scoping. The whole idea that you can fire a sniper rifle at 100% accuracy without aiming at your target through your scope, is absolutely absurd. Yet the AWM allows this.
These two points separately already make a rifle extremely powerful, but the AWM combines theme.
