Either way you do not need tournaments to keep a game alive. You need a community, and dedication - then maybe a couple tournaments, events or such by the Z8 Games Community or another organization (such as WOGL, ESG) will come in the picture.

    1. We have a community, dwindled though by the lack of competitive support, we'd have even more if a reputable organization would host a tournament for the game with the possibility of a seasonal play, etc.

    2. The game has been "dead" for a while now, after the death of WOGL in mid 2011 and here we are in mid 2012 still waiting, wanting something more than a tournament with ten dollars as the first place prize, excluding FGC. If you want to talk about dedication then we as a community possess it. We may have our problems of excessive amounts of "sixteen and a half" year old trolls such as Ck but, they pose no significant harm to our community if we simply pay them the amount of attention they deserve.

I feel as if the problem with Crossfire isn't the community, we've been sticking around through the thick and thin of all that has been happening with the game, the problem is we have no organization that's willing to put forth any effort into reviving the game. Even if the prize was nothing more than what the community put in as a whole, a pay-in pot, it would cost the company nothing more than time, which they simply don't want to put into the game.

either way, you can't get teams to stick together. otherwise i beleive we would have a couple of tournaments going on. its the people in this community who make others give up on trying to provide us with a good working tournament. but, it takes effort from the community to HELP it grow and be succesful here for us. the people that we have in this community act like children instead of helping each other and helping this community get a turn around and go the right direction. it'll take work but i'm not sure if this can happen.
