The Winchester
It is a great close range gun with 1shot capabilities however it fails miserably long range. In fact from A site to Long A barricades on Blackwidow it can't even reach the wall while the thompson and even uzi can reach that far to do minimal damage.
I think they need to overhaul it some so it at least does damage long range seeing as it is a rifle and not an SMG.
Any thoughts?

however, when you look at the deagle camo, ana adv, and steyr camo. They all have boosted stats for being the best crate gun. When you get the best as they label the winchester you are infact getting a quite terrible gun in the game. The thompson is great, in fact its a friggin awesome gun that is labeled second best to the winchester. Just pointing out that the crate guns have some improvement over normal guns while the winchester is just terrible unless you play like its a shotty (which the shotties fire faster and do more damage at mid or long range). Even the thompson is like a boosted smg with amazing accuracy and decent damage.

Well the main point is, if we want a novelty gun, make it Bonus Points or for Coupons. Don't give us a watered down gun that barely even works close range. I'm not sure if any of you have gone hunting with a Winchester, but it definitely has some range to it.

You can always get stuff you don't like in crates. I don't like the famas, k1a or sg552, but they are so common in crates. The thompson is just a fun gun as well.
If you don't want fun guns, don't buy the crate. -
Um well im kinda pi.ssed off... REALLY BAD! ive made 9 accounts thinking ok itll probly take me 2 accounts to get it (around 6 hours of game play) to get the random Winchester crate. but infact.... on every account Seargant rank you can purchase a little over 50 crates sooo do the math 9x50=450 crates. NOT A SINGLE DAM PERMANANT WEAPON! im not one to get angry or rage over a game but im kinda good at this game so i get kicked 3/4 matches i play.. annoying enough but when u need to rank up and keep getting kicked its kinda of really annoying so what im saying is can u please make it ZP buyable cause if u do i will buy ZP cause you clearly cant win it in a crate because so far theres a 0/450 chance of getting it....

well well well... i know the winchester is really a tough gun to handle...
i do agree with u guys when you say that this gun shouldn't be the best1 in the crate as it says. IMO the thompson would be the gun which gotta be recognized as the best1.
BTW that crate is awesome, it has good weapons. -

ok i really dont understand....alot of u do not like the Winchester well i do, ive used it after i kill some one with it, if u are a good sniper the winchester is not too hard to use. but frankly im ****ed off at how hard it is to obtain in crates. i made two accounts for crates cause i figured it was rare but not as rare as it actually is. what i dont understand is how most of you win the winchester inbetween 1-100 crates are you just very very very very very lucky? cause i have now made 10 accounts over the passed 7 days and you can purchase 50 crates per one account at Seargant. so 10x50=500 crates. like ffs right? i have not won anthing permanent.... i was gonna get ZP on what ever account i won it on but i cant even win it! my friend won his on two accounts one in 12 crates and the other in 15. Am i doing something wrong or? -
First, let's get some facts straight. The Winchester does in fact suck. It's probably the worst gun in the game. Mediocre accuracy, fires slower than the AWM, almost no damage at long range. It doesn't necessarily kill in one hit at close range either, which means unless you get the headshot, you're probably screwed. That said, I FREAKING LOVE THIS THING! Something about it makes it worth every point my KDR drops from using it. It's great fun, just don't take it seriously.

^ this BUT ,.. at least make it as powerfull as the worst handun -_-
i would like to see it keep its power over range at least then it would be fine,.. but for it to be the only gun that has a drop off point is annoying -
It is a fun gun to fool around with. I love ninjaing people in TDM's with it.
Sure you need to be very close to kill someone. And even then it's likely that it does not kill on 1 hit. It is slow. Etc. Still a fun gun.
I used to love fooling around with a uzi. Now Wincheter is my favorite toy.
