Hacking, Crossfire, and my opinion

Let me start off by applauding the makers on a great game and a great product. Its a really fun game and enjoyable... that is until the hacker punks showed up. I do want those of you to know though I appreciate what you have created. Remember it is FREE, so lets give them kudos when deserved.

Now as far as the hackers and cheaters go, I am as sick of it as everyone else. I consider myself an ok player and I think I am pretty good at picking out the cheaters, but it is annoying when you go through all the trouble to report them just to see nothing done about it.

Also, lets look at the next step of anti-cheat. What about punkbuster or something similar. If it does cost, I would gladly pay like $5 a month for a cheat-free crossfire and I bet I'm not the only one. Please consider this!

Also for those of you cheaters. You are one of the main reasons the world is getting so bad now days. Yes this is just a game, but if you cheat here, you prolly cheat on test, on your taxes, and who knows what else. What about your kids? Good example? I think not. Now I know this will probably go in one ear and out another, but please think about what you are starting. Those of us who have a life outside of gaming who get on to just have some fun with our buddies have no intent on cheating and we focus on having fun. What are you focused on? Just something to ponder...

Could you explain more with this? Is it a case where your reporting people you think hack and the GMs find them legit or what? I haven't reported anyone yet but from what I understand the GMs are working on those reports and banning those that are hacking. Though it might take a while or what not I wouldn't say they are doing NOTHING about it but correct me if I'm wrong.

I doubt that many cheaters hang around the forums. Anyways, I agree with you. Just thinking about an idiot that gets a rush out of cheating makes me sick, even if it is a f2p game.
