It would be great if Crossfire updated their maps guide so it's doesn't look like we only have 20 maps. Link: http://crossfire.z8games.com/guide_maps_search_and_destroy.aspx

I'm trying to say that they need to update the guides section of the site.

Some of the stuff in the weapons guide is just wrong. MP5 Automatic is ZERO?

the weapon already has a perfect guide on the forums. I don't think we need the map guides that much, because I think it is fun to learn the maps in game. I'll volunteer to write somethings up though.

They need to update all of it and link them to threads/posts
perhaps they can assign somebody to do so , but i dont have sufficient information to suggest anyone

Because the weapons guide is so out of date an individual update of each weapon doesn't make any sense, and would be incredibly time consuming. So an automatic system is currently being worked on. CSS style so that we just have to input the information and it will automatically keep the site updated.

The implementation on the site for this is being worked on and should be ready in the next patch or two. (summer)

Additionally, we are looking to remove parts of the CF website that are currently not very useful on some pages. For example the "follow us" section of the cf website is a bit out dated and is not necessary on every page (this was done originally to help spread news of the game and since conventions for this kind of sharing have changed we also need to do so as well).

Removing this also gives us more room for a new layout for the weapons which has added to some of the time required to get this updated.


In the end, we do know that the weapons pages are missing a lot of weapons in the game, and that they can be a great resource for new players to see the content.

We'll get it fixed eventually!

yes true you dont really need to learn about it on the webside.
but some people would look at it and see only 20maps and then they got more.
it also dont show how the game is as they dont show all game modes,maps,......

Yes the site does need updating, it isn't hard and wouldn't cost much even if they outsourced it.

However having an updated website will attract new players since they will see lots of modes, maps, guns etc

At the moment anyone looking at the site would think its a crappy game with a few maps and guns.
