Razer Deathadder problem

The windows sound for the USB unplug/plug keeps on going on and off. Then it just starts freezing up on me. I tried re installing the drivers but no use. I really don't want to buy a new mouse since this one has worked like a charm.

Have you tried keeping your mouse plugged in and restarting your computer? <- that method works for me.

Well I restarted my computer today, but it still didn't work after that.

Oh yeah one more problem, the deathadder program where you can change the dpi/controls etc won't work. It says no mouse has been detected.I scanned it and it still won't work. So no i didn't change the polling rate.

It is definitely a problem with the driver. Try uninstalling it and seeing if your mouse works without the driver installed on your pc.

If that doesn't work, try to make sure everything on your computer is up to date, including your bios.

Lastly, there are multiple drivers on the Razer website, try downloading the different versions.

Good luck. I have been having the same issue since I changed my DPI and polling rate, but restarting my computer with the mouse already plugged in seems to fix my problem...

Hopefully you can find a permanent solution, if you do, please let me know.

Changing your polling rate could have damaged your usb port.
