AWM leg shot or arm shot is not a 1 hit kill.
The AWM does take skill. Relying on the power will not get you a kdr of more than 1. Although, yes the m700 requires more skill.
Seeing as I'm not fantastic with the m700, I'll go with AWM, but the m700 is way more fun to use.

AWM > m700.
if two people with equal playing sniper match, 1 having awm and other 1 having m700. i doubt m700 guy will win.
and come on awm 1 shot kill except the leg. and m700 1 shot kill only in the head.
if you are a sniper you are able to get only HS with the m700
if you are used to playing a game you can use the awm -

AWM is stronger, it actually DOES require skill. You need skill to hit at close range against sprayers. I always do quick sniping, but, apparently, it takes skill to use M700. Do you see any of the pros using M700? It's always the AWM! -
C'mon Watch a noob snipe with an awm and see him get like 5 kill straight without trying
and watch a pro snipe with m700, he'll try to get headshots everytime
my definition of pro: A person who knows what they're doing and tries HARD to get it done right...
I mean i can score 15kills straight if an uzi has no reload not much skill in that either
But if we're talking about power...

awm vs m700, if they are equally skilled snipers, the m700 isnt winning. also, if so many 'pros' use m700, lemme watch the scrim, because ive only seen 1 person bring m700 into a scrim and do good.
and the m700 only takes more 'skill' because people have to hit the head for 1 shot kill. i personally think an m700 user that gets all body shot kills is more skilled than the hs'er. if you can get 2 shots into someone that can drop you in 1, thats shows some skill, it makes me think 'ha, me - 2, you - 0' -
Use M700 all the way. It will help you get Headshots all the time with any weapon.
Now for comparations...
The M700 is light and accurate, aswell as fast, which makes it the best in close sniper combat. It is also good for fast-scope. I have used it in many sniper matches, and mostly, 19/20 kills are headshots. (See pictures below). In a 2-5 vs 2-5 matches, the M700 is perfect.
As for AWM, it is just ridiculous, I have played many times with it, and all I have to do is walk sideways only showing my head to the enemy, and shot everything that moves. Using it, I get 50/2-3 scores, but I just shoot anything that moves anywhere in their bodies and it's an instant kill. This weapon promotes camping, as all you see in most situations (Monaco is the best example), the so-called "Pros" stay there watching the doors and windows, and "Skillfully" shoot whoever comes out. If you don't care about anything apart from a high score, just pick the AWM, and full rooms help too.

In those games, there were at least 2 players aiming at the doors, so I only had a chance to kill one, to be killed by the second (Or third).
I recommend you the M700 so your hands become flesh aimbots. -

Yeah, you're right, this weapon promote camping... Hell of course it promotes camping, it's a sniper rifle. You are not supposed to run everywhere holding it like an SMG, jumping and quick-zooming at every enemy.
Watching a door while hiding, and killing whatever enters your sight is what you are supposed to do as a sniper.
As for the question, I use the 2 weapons the same way, the difference is just that I get more kills with AWM. I always try to headshot with both, it's just that when you miss with AWM, you still can have a kill.
I like the lightness and the 10 bullets of the M700. I like the power of the AWM.
As for the two other sniper weapons, I don't like them. They are between M700 and AWM heavy yet not one-shot kill. We need more sniper rifles, not western rifles, bandit smg or crap camo. -
LOL i remember yesterday i was in a GM match and for fun i used the m700 lolz it owns in GM i has 15 kills -5 death with it
if u quick scope its very acurate
the Awm is just easy coz its a one hit kill unless u hit them in the foot
m700 takes skill to own.all u have to do is aim for head and its a beast
