What software did you use to enhance your avatars?

How did some of you put your IGN into your avatars? like for example, Debellate he put DEBEL in his avatar and it looks nice, GoPancakes is another along with d[T-T]b lol.. What software do you guys use? Paint blows and I tried typing in "Picture Editor" on Google also a fail..

Here's an online Photoshop type editor seems pretty decent I have used it in other projects in the past.

- PhotoShop (costs)
- Paint.NET (free)
- GIMP (free)

These are all advanced image editing programs.

Photoshop but if all you're looking to do is add text to an image you already have paint should do fine :P

Yay I was mentioned without any pretext! ^_^

I used Microsoft Word.

I kid you not, I just arranged the pictures together on Word quickly and snapshotted it.

Which is why there's a little white strip on the side of the picture that I've never bothered to take out.

Dunno if any of you ever noticed the strip.
