Deleting Inactive Accounts

I didn't realise how rediculous it's goten but since searching a for IGN I've found how bad it actually is. All of the IGN's I've thought of were taken and the accounts hadn't been active since 2010, many of them Trainee 2. I'd request that we start removing inactive, low rank accounts.

Any thoughts/comments?

What if they wanted to play on the old CF after 2 years, so no.
There are even some from July 2009 i think. The first patch was that 3 GP Crates were added and 2 SP crates were added from the forum. I'm not sure though but that was the oldest one ever existed according to the forum

Yes it is annoying to try and find a name that has not been taken by an inactive SmileyFace ranked account.
Some suggestions to this topic was,
"If they spent money on their account, they shall not be deleted"
"If the account hasn't been touched for a long time and is a low rank, then delete"
I really would like this to happen, but i'm pretty sure this won't happen anytime soon.

You totally misunderstood what I said. I said delete inactive, low rank accounts who haven't been active for 2+ years. They're not going back to them I guarantee.

Deleting inactive ZP/High rank accounts is not what I had in mind.

So annoying when you're looking for a name and when you check you see a smiley using it from back in '09.
I doubt they'd even remember their account info from 2-3 years back.

Just delete their IGN and when they decide to connect to the game again, they can choose a new IGN.

Deleting inactive ZP/High rank accounts is not what I had in mind.

What if they were low rank and they wanted to play and they found their account deleted. They would think it was hacked by someone.

But it is pretty annoying, so why not agree to the Jaguar's idea.

[3.1.1] Character Name Changes
Z8Games in its sole discretion, reserves the right to change any character name. Reasons may include, but are not limited to negative content as described in [3.1], inactivity of the player account, Harassment of other players or any other such conduct that may require an In-Game Character name to be changed.
Z8Games, in its sole discretion also reserves the right to block, close or prevent any account from using its services based on the above inappropriate character names.

Anything over 1 year inactive deserves to be deleted.

+1 Haha, I have about 14 other accounts I don't play. 1 is First Lt but still wouldn't mind if they got rid of it, haven't been on it since April, 2010.

what if someone comes back and decides to spend 1 million dollars on the game,
but he can't log in so he doesn't spend a cent.

Exactly, It will also never happen because Z8 will lose money.

I agree with the OP, though it really doesn't make a difference at all, and may increase the impersonator population for those famous players who went inactive a year ago.

How about temporarily suspending the accounts , and when the players come back they have to pay a small amount of zp to reactivate it and choose a new name?

Yeah the amount of these accounts is pretty big.
Sometimes I search someone up and the whole five pages are just low ranking noobies.

He said delete inactive and low rank accounts. If you search a random name in the players page, about 75% are going to be smiley faces.

If the player does come back after a year, it will probably take an hour just to patch the game up, they probably wouldn't worry about creating a new ING in 30 seconds. Also the number of people who come back and spend money is so small, Z8 will probably lose about $0.80, but gain money because more players join.

Also, Z8 accounts don't have to be deleted, just in game accounts.
