Unique Kick voting Idea

I have what I think is a totally new idea about kick voting, everyone should know I hate the kick vote abusers as it prevents good players from enjoying the game.

Anyway this idea came to me today because a guy was constantly joining a room to kick me, even though all the people refused (only 2 agrees each time said a friend).

So - You all will know how you press F11/F12 or nothing when a vote kick comes up? well how about having a new option to kick the kicker at the same time?

So lets say a kick comes up and you can F11/F12 or nothing like normal but you can also vote on the legitimacy of the kicker at the same time with say F9 F10 and once a threshold is reached the kicker will be kicked just like the person getting kicked.

This should prevent players somewhat from kicking legit players as they know they could possibly be kicked.

No Kick-Vote system will ever be foolproof. You can try and fix it, but its not the system that is broken. It's the immature players that abuse it, that need to get fixed.

Players need to be constantly educated on how to spot the difference between players using the latest hacks, and players who are just better than you.

Also, we need TempReplays back, so we can file a report even when we get kicked.

Agreed and there is no better education than allowing others to vote on their ability to competency to judge and play fair, so they can learn.

Wrong! It just adds another function to be abused. You don't get it, do you? This function would only increase the chances of noobs kicking good players. Because as soon as a good player uses the kick vote, for lets say, kicking a hacker, noobs will jump at the opportunity to kick the good player as well.

Right now, only team mates can put team mates up for kicking. But with this function, as soon as a team mate puts a team mate up for kicking, he puts him or herself up for kicking. This would allow noobs to kill 2 birds with 1 stone, and kick 2 players off of the opposite team.

I understand anything that may adversely affect the noob kicking policy some people have will be seen as bad but you was right about one thing they need educating and this would do just that.

You know how many people I kicked a month before last and in 3 days of playing CF this week? None, that is how many hackers there are and that is how much kick vote is required if used properly.

I first supported this idea, but read Frecklez post, and my opinion has changed. I think if you were able to vote on the kicker and the kicker, you should only be able to choose one ore the other to kick, rather than having the option to kick both of them.

The only real problem is the immature in-game community. They don't seem to understand that the kick vote system isn't like drinking coffee in the morning, it's something that should only be used in serious situations.

that would be super confusing if you're in teh middle of a firefight , focusing on the game as well as the kick would be WAY too difficult

Just because I'm in the same room as you, Chimpzz, doesn't mean I kicked you when you get kicked. A lot of times I'm unable to do anything about it.

The only people I kick are either indeed hacking, and I have proof of them hacking, or they annoy the p*ss out of me. So if you got kicked by me personally, you probably fall in the lather category.

I disagree 100%. At a first glance, it sounds good. But then you think of the consequences... I'm sorry to hear you get kicked a lot ^^ But that's either your fault, or your in the wrong server.
