Modify FFA spawn protection mechanic.
I'm sick of getting killed by people spawning right in my face in ffa and leaving me completely unable to do anything to defend myself.
I suggest:
1) Shorten the protection timer to 1.5 seconds. Good gamers don't need 3 whole seconds. That's an eternity in FFA, stop pandering to children and those with low IQs.
2) Break protection upon firing. No brainer. If they're shooting at me, they clearly no longer need the protection to get oriented and it provides an unfair advantage anyways.

If the second was brought in then the first wouldn't matter IMO. (the second would be very nice to have albeit) -
This is one of the things that should of have been fixed(tweaked) 2 years ago, but look, it still getting suggested. Let's +1 this again, but it wont make a change trust me.
Well, yeah, this has been implemented sooo many times.
It hasn't been stated about being changed in the near future unless i haven't seen it. -

You post just had no logic to it at all.... Someone spawns right behind you with no cover around.... Yeah whats a pro gonna do about that?... Why would anyone complain about not having it?... There is no real down side to not having spawn protection that will out weigh the problems cause by having it there....
The only reason I dont play ffa is because of that, its just boring when the only reason you get killed is because someone spawns right next to you and you cant do anything about it -
The amount of time you stay invulnerable for seems inconsistent too.
Ever had this happen?
You spawn 1-2+ seconds after someone else spawns in the nearest spawn point relative to you. Naturally, you burst at his head once or twice figuring you have a second or two more spawn shield then him. Except you die and he is still flashing red and eating bullets to the head like they were tic tacs. No dmg

Hahahah, you say that like you think those noobs will get any better if us pros give them a free pass.
Back in the old days of multiplayer FPS, the only way to learn was to be relentlessly butchered thousands of times by your betters.
I guess the younger generation of gamers are all little girls these days.
