Graphics card help?
Ok so i bought a computer earlier this year that has nice specs but i went with on board graphics because i was out of money. Now i have a new monitor and want to play at those sexy resolutions. If you could show me a link to a good card ( preferably ATI ) or tell me if this card would do good. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814102864

Well if you have the money and you computer can handle it get a gtx 260 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814150398&cm_re=gtx_260-_-14-150-398-_-Product
If you want a cassual gaming card go with the ati 4550hd or ati 4670
The gtx 260 is better then the 5770 but does not suport dx11 plus that card has 1.7 gigs or ram
Ati 4550; http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814127458&cm_re=ati_4550-_-14-127-458-_-Product
ati 4670: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814102854&cm_re=ati_4670-_-14-102-854-_-Product
Hope this helps -
You didn't mentioned what's your monitor resolution. However if you you want to save money and buy a decent card for resolutions up to 1680x1050 the HD4670 is a great buy. Also if you intend buying HD5770 have in mind that the HD4870 is a better performer and is cheaper but the HD5770 has some pros as energy, DX11, new technologies, etc.

Radeon HD 5770 is a great card it will run the game great ..with a modest cpu and 3+
gigs of ram that card will not let drop below 100 fps in game
what are you running for a psu? make sure you have more than 18amps on the 12 volt rail if you don't know ..take of side of the case and look at your psu if you can't read it post a pic and i will help you it's important to have a little more power than you need so your not starving the rest of the system th e 5770 use 's about 90 watts at full load alot less than a hd 4870 uses abot 180 watts
1 down load software called driver sweeper
2 make sure you remove old driver's
3 shut down pc
4 install new card
5 reboot in safe mode
6 use driver sweeper in safe mode to clean out any left over driver's
7 reboot and intall new driver's
8 reboot and play cross fire -
