thoughts on Nightfall
Man, the map is huge (cue that what she said). After my first game (BL), I find this map to be ghost favored. After my second game (GR), I really find this map to be very ghost favored (maybe the fact that all of my team mates had loud guns and were spraying but whatever).
I'll try this map again tomorrow, but what are your thoughts?

Definitely legitimate comments. It is certainly huge and, like metro, is pretty easy to fast hop up on people. Not to mention the trek from a to b or vice versa is long and mono dimensional. B has very few paths to get to it since it is gated. Bit weird if you ask me. All in all it is still fun and we get a new map to play ghost mode on so I won't complain and give this update a 10/10. -
The crane is a total GR advantage, as it's easy to here enemies coming up on you, and if you're a good sniper, you can see the whole damn map. My first game was as a GR, I got 13-3, and I never play ghost mode (cranked my headphones up though, hoping it would help).
It's a nice large map, and would love to see it become one of the main Ghost Mode maps. The only designs I don't like on the map are the planting zones. Both are quite hedious. -
Flat areas, high heights and open areas.
Overall it favors BL alot more than GR in terms of terrain.
As far as I can tell, there's no smoke or light obstacles to illuminate BL save for the red rings.
Only water area is A site, and benefits BL more than GR.
Yeah, very little that makes it useful for GR to utilize. -

This, the height advantage gives the BL a huge advantage, since they can see where all the GRs are going. But GR can prefire really easily and snipe across the map since most of the BL rush and don't bhop while on the buildings/crane.
TGO and Talon would know its more BL Sided already

I dont see how ghosts have the advantage, Gr has perfect camping spots.
camping spots? really? Camping up on the crane any of these things are irrelevant when it comes to the bomb being planted which negates it. The overall map and assuming people from both sides are moving around freely favors bl if blacklist knows how to hop that is. It blacklist is nooby then the open areas will reveal failhops more. Bomb plants favor blacklist at b site, while a site seems crowded and not very accessible by fasthopn. Over all a fun map though. I would rate it above lost relic, bio, and complex for fun and below hak metro lab right now. -
I'm impressed with this new map.I tried both side for the first time on 2 games.I was pleased.
from my opinion as GR:there are many good spots where you can camp and kill a ghost.Only problem is if you go from a to b you can easly get killed from ghosts.But it is a great map from testing your reactions and too many space for GR and BL.
As BL:You have many hidding places.Mostly same as Metro.Perfect for not breaking your bhop over something.
minus on that map for ghost is you can bump to the fence and if you dont get out from there you could be pinpointed.As far from now.I did get on both game.Ace and mvp.Great map for raising your kdr on both sides.

Yes, but I think an organized GR team camping bomb spots could actually hold their grounds.
They would probably have to allocate 1/3 to A and 2/3 to B, though. -

yes that is true story.But for me i'm finding my way how to avoid not to bump on something.Mostly people hate lost relics because of the ground and it's hard to bhop but for me it's nohting.Just i hate when i bump into guy who camps on half way thinking how he will kill someone xDBe honest here, some maps are more balanced than others. Let's not rest on self-proclamed skills all alone. -
I got 13-3, and I never play ghost mode
I had 31/9 for my 3rd match and 28/7 for my 2nd. The 1st I joined I got in SUPER late and had a 0/0 after 2 rounds.
For all 3 Ghost won...there was too much distance between the bomb areas, and BL could stop you from pursuing them just by moving into wide areas...all GR could do was find a camping spot on the sites and hope they didn't get bounced on (nothing like a ZP weapon to do 70-90 dmg with a weak swing. And I had someone weak swing a knife into my chest and insta-kill me...) -
Personally from playing on the GR side, I can say that the map is QUITE clearly designed for the ghosts. Just from leaning your spawn to try to head them off you're presented with dark corners GALORE and paths from above that you have to worry about dealing with...
...I got lucky a few times and beat the ghosts to the air duct leading to Mid/B and sat up there pegging anyone who decided to chase after the stupid people on our team...but other then that it's a pain to get to the ghost side without risking you and your entire team getting plastered along the way.
