Improving your CF skill

Settings don't make a better player. It's simply how well the person adapts to having a certain resolution. For the most part, some of these instructions can be explained via the Training Camp Single Player Session.
But I did get the Double Jumping thing out of this Tut. Thanks. -
I would say that you do need Blood, especially for Gm. And res does not really affect your gameplay, (unless your widescreen in which there is a bug with scopes).
Also, with Aim, you can shoot things in the shooting range if no friends are online.
And I don't really like the idea of pre-firing, it only reveals your position, and good players have the reflexes fast enough to kill you anyway, (especially if you start shooting a bit too early) -
agree with everything except for prefiring, I never got why people do that. It destabilizes your cross hairs and, more importantly, gives away your position. It's better to just keep your cross hairs level with where their head will be as you turn corners or camp entrances. At least that's my opinion, based on never seeing anyone prefire well

Agreed, just practice your reaction times and you won't need to prefire. -
* Guide to improving your CF skills *
- Settings
Optional:
Change your CF settings to the following.
Resolution: 800×600
Color: 16 bit
Texture: Low
Blood: off
Wheather effects: off
- Guns
The steadiest guns to use for CF is probably the M4-A1. It has decent damage. Good accuracy and pretty low recoil. Its what I personally use and is probably the CF favorite.
Currently my main rifle

- Sensitivity
You must choose your own sensitivity. Try out some different levels of sensitivity and see how they work for you. I would strongly suggest choosing above 60 percent sensitive because you need to move fast to the head but you need to make sure you have full control at whatever level you choose.
Mine is currently set to 73.
- Aim
Find a friend and get ingame with him. Do some games but with only 2-3 burst shots. Aim for only the head as the target. Then just get in any public game and try it out. Youll be getting those headshots faster than usual so you wouldn’t be dying as much and your kdr should look pretty good. This takes practice though.

- Moving
Try and move back and forth between objects. Try not to stay out in the open to long where someone may appear and easily gun you down. Also don’t always appear right after taking cover. Wait a while and let them think you’ve left the area and then just reappear and take em out. Try and stay moving in weird patterns most of the time. This makes it harder for the guy to hit the headshot on you.
Also make sure your movements are unpredictable. Otherwise youll be easily pre-shotted if your opponents notice.
- Preshotting
This is basically shooting where the player probably will be at head range before he comes. That way when he does hell run directly into your bullets. I use this mostly when Im turning a corner into a aisle or when my opponent is about to run out of his spawn place and has been predictable.
- Timing
Learn the timing of the game. This may take a while since you’ve got to get used to it. If someone is shooting at you from [Point A] and then dissapears you should be able to have a good estimate of how long they should be at [point B]. That way you wont be as surprised when they pop through another doorway and youll be ready.
- Double Jumping
Double jumping gives players an advantage in many situations.
1. You get to appear in places people wouldn’t expect.
2. You can get a better veiw of the other player while he can barely see you.
Many of these spots give a good advantage to the player using them.
To double jump follow these instructions.
Jump - > Jump again right before hitting the ground -> Crouch in mid air and land on your destination

Feedback is appreciated.
Thx to Chriss to giving me some tips on CF.
Thx to J_Levitt for pushing me to make a guide.
Note* - Additions and changes will be made as I learn more information. Feel free to post some of your tips and thoughts.
But if your computer is not 800x600 & you set your CF IG to 800x600 then it wont be compatible right? or it will still work
