X-Trap, better or worse?
This is a poll/ informative topic.
When i first saw the new anti-hack. I was THRILLED, but while researching on this "X-Trap" I see that it has its benifits and bad spots. Some bad spots is that gunZ uses this and that game is full with hackers, so its making me think x-trap is just like GG. When you just google X-Trap their are guides on how to BYPASS THE PATCHING ETC! as my clan leader vapor says, " It runs a patcher to patch the .exe file everytime you load." So to me I see no difference in anti-hack systems except faster. We will have to see if the hacking gets to where it was before patching.

2. if you start a very good invisible hack injector like *dont know* and you start the game you not get banned but if you press delete or insert for the hack or hotkeys you get auto banned..
3. if you hack, its youre last day before you get ip banned from z8games...

Hmmmm... I think this is a lie.. I don't think it's possible to get auto banned.. Is it?from a hacking website

it is with punkbuster, if x-trap searches whats working in your background ex: injecter etc etc. than it kicks and bans u, but thats really highclass anti hack -

I'm not sure this game will ver run legit. COme on it is a free game.. IF THIS WAS TO BE A PAID FOR GAme there would be less than 5% hacks.. But hey.. I love the game -

its amazing for free game. But i think they get enough zp charges that they could afford punkbuster. -
Hackers are raging about this anti-cheat software in probably all crossfire related hacking websites. I encourage you take this moment to play ghost mode or any other mode that was inaccessible before because of the hackers and play it as much as you can because, like PWaNTeD said, they will come back eventually.
Anyways, I like how it loads faster by not checking the .rez files like GG did. It takes seconds for me to load up for my poor excuse of a gaming computer. -

The "hacks" for gunZ are not hacks. They are called macros. -

Last time I played GunZ it was still using Gameguard. When/did they switch? -

Do you have any updated information on it? Wow, it sounds like I want to write a hack, but I'm just wondering if it is/how easy it will be to bypass. How much bliss will we get? Plus, I software. -
i dont see why anti ban isnt capable. ip ban atleast, if it detects an injector, an ip ban would work nice, for the little 10 year old kids that dont know about computers, just how to download hacks.
but infact, if its just an ip ban, and anyone smart uses hacks, they can just ip change and they'll be unbanned, most likely. they just wont be able to hack, which is all i care about =D -

Account AND IP Ban at the same time. Let them put in a few seconds more effort. -
you know why IP bans would work? Cause most of the kiddies just click and inject w/e they downloaded. The majority has no clue how to change their IPs. This would get rid of like least 80% of hackers. Either do this or ban certain countries from playing.

That would only work if their IP's are static.
