Hello guys, FrostGaming will be hosting a tournament with a large prize!
Universal Rules
We reserve the right to change, modify, or adapt all rules as deemed appropriate by Frost Gaming in order to uphold and maintain a spirit of overall fairness and good sportsmanship.
All players and teams are to uphold the spirit of fair play at all times. Any attempt to beat the system will be punished swiftly and harshly. The goals of these tournaments are to aid in the development of the competitive crossfire community.
Unsportsmanlike conduct of any type, including but not limited to racist or abusive remarks and attempts to circumvent or abuse any league policy as determined by Frost Gaming is not tolerated and is subject to punishments including forfeits, expulsions, bans, or any other action deemed appropriate by Frost Gaming.
Schedule
The complete map rotation can be found on the Frost Gaming website.
Each team will play each team in their group 1 time. Groups with an odd number of teams will be awarded a FFW to replace the missing teams.

Standings, Tie Breakers & Playoffs
The tournament is broken down into the following stages:
Group Play – 4 Matches
Double Elimination Bracket
You will receive your official playoff seed the first round and it will last the duration of playoffs.
At the end of the regular season, playoff eligible teams will advance into a playoff bracket to determine the champion:
Top TBA teams based upon:
Overall record then by
Highest amount of regulation rounds won
Single map playoff if all other tie breaker scenarios are indecisive

Payments - winners will be contacted within 14 days with the appropriate payment and/ or W9 forms. Players will have seven days to return the completed paperwork and team captains must provide the prize breakdown per player on the active roster. Prize winnings will be paid to all eligible participants within 21 days of receiving the completed paperwork.

If needed overtime will consist of two 5 rounds to win halves. At the end of a half teams will switch sides and continue. Sets of overtime halves will be played until there is a winner.

The exploiting of glitches is prohibited. Usage of a glitch will result in a forfeit of the match. Use your brain.
Good sportsmanship is expected at all times.

Player Eligibility & Roster Restrictions
All players must be registered on the Frost Gaming website in order to compete in matches.
You may only play on one team per tournament, including multiple accounts.
Rosters will be locked at 5:00 PM EST the Sunday before matches begin.
Rosters are limited to 5 starters, and 3 backups.

Match Times & Reschedules
Default Match Times - all division teams are scheduled for two matches per week. The default match time for each division is:
Match 1: Sunday 10:00pm (EST)
Match 2: Sunday 8:30pm (EST)
Match Times - matches can only be played between 7:00pm and 12:30am (EST) within a window starting from the Sunday preceding the default day to the following Sunday.
Reschedules - teams can reschedule any regular season match as needed if the new match time is mutually agreed upon by both team captains.

Match Scheduling & Server Assignments
Initiating a Match Offer - Either the captain or designated scheduler from the home or away team can initiate a match offer. When initiating a match offer, the captain proposes a match time and server from the pre-populated server list.
If teams disagree on server selection; the home team will choose the server for first half and the away team may switch servers at half to one of their choosing. The same rule applies for overtime.

Forfeit Wins & Loses
If a team does not have five players in the server "readied up" after 20 minutes from the originally scheduled match time, then the opposing team can force them to play with 4. If they cannot field 4, then the other team will be able to submit a forfeit win. The captain of the team should message an admin with screenshot proof in order to submit the forfeit win.

Match Process
Z8Games ID # - be sure your Z8 Games User Number is in your Frost Gaming profile is consistent with the account you are using to compete with. Only registered and eligible participants from the assigned teams will be allowed in the assigned game room.
Z8 Games In Game Name – be sure your in game name is correctly listed in your Frost Gaming profile. You will be limited to 2 name changes per event.
Client - all participants must be running MOSS Client and a form of screen recording (Bandicam, Growler, Fraps, or etc.) at all times during their matches or they will automatically be disqualified from the tournament. Any attempt to circumvent the Client will result in a forfeit loss and expulsion from the league.

Exploits & Infractions
Exploits will be judged on a case by case basis. Ignorance will NOT be a valid excuse for using an exploit, whether it is known or not. If you think something is possibly an exploit, or you are unsure as to whether or not it is, don't do it!
Dispute Resolutions - all disputes must be filed via a forum post on the Frost Gaming website and a league admin contacted within three hours of the conclusion of the match along with the demo, specific infraction, and the round in which the infraction occurred. Disputes will be resolved by League Administrators and all decisions are final
Exploit & Infraction Penalties - exploits and infractions will be dealt with on a case by case decision, but standard resolution for the below infractions include overturning the round in which the infraction occurred if the infraction had a direct impact on the outcome of that round
Scripts - All scripts that alter a player's hit box, or give a player an unfair advantage over others are illegal

Cheating
If a team is found to have been using a ringer during a match, the match will be overturned, and the player will be banned from all Frost Gaming Events for account sharing.
If a player is found to be cheating and/or using illegal customization in any event that is ran by Frost Gaming, any matches played by the user for the team he/she is on at the time of the detection (not the time of the ban), in addition to any matches played for any other team after the time of the detection, will be overturned.
If a player is found to be ban evading in a Frost Gaming Event, any matches on any team that he/she has played in the last 30 days will be overturned. Captains of said teams will also be banned from all Frost Gaming Events.

Server Crashes
Server Crash - if a server crashes, contact a League Administrator with a detailed report. All rounds prior to the server crash will count, and the round score will be played out on a new server by nading oneself until the score is correct.

Reporting
Reporting deadline is Midnight on night of the Match.
Team Leaders must update the information to the tournament website as well as message links to the screenshots of their match to a by the reporting time for confirmation.
Team must retain replays/anticheat files/screenshots of each half of a match in case a dispute arises. These files can be deleted after the cup ends.
Teams must wait 30 minutes following the scheduled default time before submitting a forfeit win report. Valid proof is required (screenshots, confirmable chat logs, etc).
Reports Should use this format:
Team 1 > Team 2
Team 1- # of Rounds won
Team 2- # of Rounds won
links to screenshots and replays.
Signups begin April 29th.
