ESG Map Rotation - What Do You Think?
Hey everyone,
I figured since I wasn't doing anything I'd enlighten you all on how we plan on doing our map rotations for each week of every tournament. We have decided to open up the map rotation to every map except for Castle, until further review, if necessary. Each tournament in the circuit will go as follows:
32-teams = 5 rounds (32 -> 16 - > 8 -> Semis -> Final)
Each round, both teams will have some influence in the maps played as follows:
Rounds 1 - 3: Teams will be given a selection of three maps. Each team will eliminate one map until a final map remains. That final map will be played for both regulation and overtime of this section of the tournament.
Semis / Finals: These two rounds will be a Best of 3 match up. Teams will be given a selection of five maps. Each team will eliminate one map until three maps remain. Out of these three maps, first the home team will choose a map they want to play on. Afterwards, the away team will choose a map they want to play on. The third and final map left will be the OT map, if necessary.
Basically, we wanted to grant teams some right to influence the maps they will be playing in each round. Up until now, outside of the semi-finals and finals, the maps have pretty much been assigned to you. While we as Administrators will still choose the map group for each week, you as teams will have a little bit more influence as to which of those maps you will play. What do you guys think?

Great, just make a new rule set and this will be perfect, will kind of miss castle though. -
I like how the maps will be picked, Only issue is, It may be hard finding a scrim to practice your map if someone else has a different one..
Still not a fan of the tournament style brackets
it may be hard finding a scrim to practice on your mom if someone else has a different one!!!! -

I heard you won't be allowed to use the ESG name since you have already been warned of this.
He can keep the name Eternally Silly Gamers. As long as he doesn't go around claiming to be part of E-Sports Genesis I don't think he'll have a problem. -

Wtf is an Esg.Elite? And 8 months you've been around? Where the h%ll have I been?
Kris...is there separation from the slow children? I can't in my right mind enter a competition and beat a bunch of special Olympic children who call themselves the Esg.Elite. -
