Word Filter..
Crossfire has this really stupid word filter that causes everyone's chat to to this.
"Bu???a cross fire."( example)
This can get really annoying because when you type "But it", the word filter cancels it because if the "tit" part. I really think that Crossfire just should get rid of this word filter because no one really cares if someone cusses. And if this is safety for a children to play, i doubt that their parents would let a 5 year old play this game. people only find out new ways to bypass the word filter therefore the word filter doesn't block out any words except for the words that are appropriate. Please get rid of this. no ones really cares that much if someone cusses and it just demotes your game..

Actually people do care, lets say I had a child who was 10 and I let him/her play this game I would expect him/her to be polite. I wouldn't want him/her to see the vulgar lanague which is sometimes used by the players. It is there for a reason. If they bypass it, they do just get over it. If you don't like it don't swear. Or you self put something for example infront of the words... -

derp. he's not talking about swearing. He's talking about how it filters innocent, inoffensive chat.

However, when you intentionally swear you easily bypass the filter. Hilarious.
Anyway, everyone knows that bu???s = but its. Along with many common filtered phrases. You just learn to recognize them through the filter.
*edit: I also think it's funny how violence and shooting people is okay for kids but seeing swear words in writing, that they're gonna learn eventually anyway, isn't okay.

Ok. first of all, this game is rated for teens, and unless there parents cares about them playing this game if there 10 years old, im pretty sure they would look into it and see the amount of cussing and inappropriate words people chat. Also, the word filter messes words up even though its not a cuss word or anything. -

It's because jesus is part of a religion which the word filter won't allow you to discuss religious icons. Its like essays in school where your not supposed to wright about religion, drugs, sex, etc. -

TBAGGING= the act of pressing crouch constantly over the dead body of a player in order to taunt said dead player
original meaning is that, only after that did they start saying t-bagging as the other meaning, also, t-bagging isn't even blocked by the "red line" filter. -
To everyone wondering about the Jesus filtration issue: many Christians find the phrase 'Jesus Christ', used out of context, highly offensive. It's even censored on TV sometimes. One of my favorite censored words in CF is 'awsome'. Is G4Box on some sort of correct-spelling crusade?

Not happening. Vulgar language and profanity is not acceptable in any way, shape, or form. It may not be offensive to you, but words can hurt, and I prefer not to hear it either. Saying that no one cares about cussing was very inadequate to say, for one, I care. Parents who let their children care. You cannot exclude these key people and others from your suggestion. Not everyone is an older teenager. Using profanity spreads like a virus. Keep it how it is. -
