ONLY FOR GM´s

Hi there.
Im a german player and i allready send you a support ticket but all i recieved was a useless standardanswer. so i try the way over the forum.

since thursday one wekk ago my ping ( and that of many other european players) jumed up from 140-150 to 280-300+. so its geting impossible to play.

So please dear GM´s let us finally know what that problem is and if u fix it. Cause i ( and i guess many others with that provlem too) spended a lot of money ( now over 100euro) to this game .

So dont give any standard forms like. close other programms and download etc. cause this is all done already.

even i tried gamebuster to stop useless processes but it doesnt work. i also tested my real internet speed, my real WLAN speed, and i called my internetprovider of any changes. but its all the same as before the ping goes up.

So it would be really nice if one of the GM´s would say something helpfull just if it is to give me hope that that problem will be fixed.

so have a nice day and please answer or i want my ***n money cause i wont buy any items before my ping is down again.

and i bet 100$ that the thread will say us to cloes any programms and downloads and such a ****. all thing we know already

there is absolutly nothing you can do to decrease your ping unless you move closer to the servers...

however theres some things you can check for

1. turn your antivirus off as it may be conflicting with crossfire in some way or another
2. make there is noone else on your network as this can slow connections down

have you tried the new patch yet?

its supposed to increase the server stability which may in turn decrease your ping

i agree.. i ddnt play few days because my ping its still 220. and its sucks.

Doubt it...PING is SERVER >< PC, if your HDD is screwing you because your AV is scanning all your pr0n, than that's on YOU...

This I can agree with, but...not that much that can happen to propagate this...
What he SHOULD do, is turn his uTorrent off...don't want to know hoe many times that I was laggy because I was seeding large files (@ max...I'm not a leecher...grrr :mad: )

same happend to me.
I live in German too, got once of the best pings there. i had 119 never seen a german with that low ping.

Since 2 weeks my ping went to 130-140 -,- it's annoying

We agree that there might be an issue with network lag and higher than normal pings.

We are going to work on the problem. However we JUST patched the game and we're receiving a larger amount of traffic.

Users coming from other countries may experience this problem while we get through this patch stage.


When we come out of the initial patch rush next week we will be making a data-collection post where we are going to ask our users to submit to us certain useful information that we can use to try and track down any potential problems.

Until that time we ask for your patience. And if you could please come back to the forums after the patch rush and provide that information to us in the proper thread it would be great!

the fact is right now
knowone can get better ping than usual because alot of the time people neglect to turn things off and defragment or clear our there HDD causing there computer to process too much which can also cause stress on there connection to the internet which can cause ping spikes or ping to be higher than usual, also you local server connection to your ISP might be slow in the first place, combining the HDD problem and the Local Server Problem Together can cause massive problems,however you must understand it is not entirely Z8's or the GM's Fault For you ping problems so please do not stress out at these kind of things, remeber that online gamming is a 2 way thing.

there are many european gamers which has prblems with a ping that jumped up on the same day. These gamers are all across europe. U REALLY GUESS ITS MY PROBLEM ????
