review of the winchester
at close range 1 hit kill to the chest!
fires verry slowly if u miss ur probbly dead ^^
unlike outher guns that fire and lose a bit of power over distance this loses ALL POWER over distance to the point where u wont even get a bullet inpact at annything over medium range (im talking less than the distance between the 2 towers on columbia!)
but its still a fun gun ^^

Its horrible, I mean come on.... Its not even one hit kill at medium range.... Better off no scoping with an awm... I think the awm has a higher ROF than the winchester. Thompson ROXX Winchester is a complete failure... It needs a better ROF, and greater damage at range.

There is a reason that the Winchester is in the same crate as the Thompson. That gun is only for fun or the truly skilled since it may have power but all else is too hard for the average user to handle.
Now before you all say how we so failed at this please remember what gun you are talking about. The Winchester is one of the most classic rifles in the USAs past and was known as "The Gun that Won the West"... if you have not noticed yet this means the gun is from the late 1800's so I would hope gun technology would have gotten better since this.
Enjoy the gun for what it is, a fun bonus to a crate that already has the Thompson SMG (watch the God Father movies for references) which is quite powerful and good enough for anyone to use. -

Smaller maps equals faster pace. I doubt the Winchester will keep up with the pace.
But yes, it's a fun gun - don't you get a thrill running around the map hitting enemies from the back with an ancient gun? -

I see, That I do Understand that it was purposely made this way, However The Winchester 30-30 is still a very nice gun, Ive killed several deer with mine from distances over 75 yards with open sights. It is the gun that won the west, and It hasnt been changed coz it doesnt need to be changed.
I do understand if it was made as a "fun gun" im all for that, I guess I had expected it to be closer to the real life version heh.... -
I find it useful for ghost mode.
But you also need to take a pistol.
This gun needs skill. Lots of skill in long range situations. I find it more like a camping gun. Just hide behind corner and when enemies come out just shot them from behind. It should be 1 shot kill. If you miss your dead. If you hit but its not 1 shot kill your dead. If you're a noob your dead. IF the player that comes out knew you were there your there your dead. If there was another enemy behind the guy you kill your dead. Point is, It takes lots of skill and practice. -

Then why "mark it" as the best prize in a crate where there is also the tommy gun?
I actually got the winchester today, i liked it due to its look, meanings but not its performance, it takes a lot of skill to use it in either game mode, long shots wont EVER kill a guy unless he is already at like -80/90 hps= 20 to die, at mid-close distance would only work or give 1 shot kill if is from chest to head, i find it only usefull for ghost mode if you're already an expert at it IF you combine it with either the anaconda, deagle or also if you're a good and quick knifer.
I think it is been made way weaker than what the real gun really was, it was too powerfull that is why it is a legend, i understand that in this game the guns are only something "similar" to its begginings or ancesters from real life, but in this case is not even near to it.
It would be good for the game and players who may want to use it or get it either change a bit its stats (power at least) or just give it as a BP gun and take it out from the crates, unless of course there would be the strongest versions of the winchester available in the future : the 30-30 and the 44-40.
Just my thoughs, i hope you consider our opinnions... -
My review
IT SUCKS ASS!!
Someone comes at you with let's say a Deagle... you jump around to try and avoid them, and you shoot at them with the Winch. You miss, they shoot you, you die. Sure it's strong but that's useless cos you'll never get a hit anyway.
Conclusion: Winch sucks.
