Crate fails

We've all had these. We all hate it. We all think, "what if I just did X differently".
I want to get an opinion from the community. Vatav said on an earlier thread that the location of the spin doesn't matter, but that the moment you click your win is decided. So obviously, missing by one doesn't mean you didn't spin at the right spot. But does it mean anything?
Like, if you miss by one, does that mean the guy after/before you won?
Does it mean that you're going to get it within X number of crates (strange theory but I got my Kriss LM, M60 ADV, and RPK Gold in the crate right after I missed).

Or are all the "side prizes" (things you don't win) completely irrelevant and random.

My interest was piqued today by the fact I missed the AK scope 4 times. In 20 crates. Yeah...

Just wondering, not complaining.

I'm not complaining, I'm just wondering what it means to miss. Like, what does that mean about the spin.

For example, does that mean it was a good spin...whatever that means...
Or does it mean nothing?

Also I don't think I was ripped off cause I used the GP to win the QBZ camo. I love the crate system because it rewards the paying players with great weapons. Not a rip off QQ, just a question of what it means to miss.

Not sure. Think missing is just a visual thing to get the spinners thinking that they are/were "close" to winning the weapon, but as far as I can tell, the BM works with randomly generated numbers and checks to see if they match a specific value to correspond to an item that can be rewarded from the crate.

It means nothing to miss, because there is know way of knowing the actual quantity of weapons/items inside the crate. All you know is the type of weapon or the specific item (sprays, namecards etc.) will be present in that crate.

I've seen a few spins where I see the winning weapon occupying more than one bubble outside of the winning 3 spots. I no longer even regard what's outside of the 3 spots as a result, because...

So just spin away, and hope that the next one is the winning one

LOL, i had it to the point were i had M4 Royal, Mauser Royal, And Kukri Royal all in 1 crate, (but on the sides ) but sadly didnt take screen shot -_-
