price 100%, it's alot cheaper to buy a x-box 360 or ps3 and get pro.
Compared to buying a 1,000 USD gaming computer
Actually, companies like sony and microsoft have to sacrifice the graphic quality of the game and be very careful about how things look in the game due to the very old hardware in the xbox/ps3 consoles.
If anyone have noticed, the size of the guns in the newer games are really large so the xbox/ps3 has to render less on the screen.(or however it works)
However, since PC hardware is constantly getting updated, the games can also "be updated" and look much, much better than games for console. Of course, the price will be bigger, but it's worth it. -

I hate how that misconception is always used in these types of discussion. You can build a decent gaming computer for less than $500 and it will last you for quite a while, certainly longer than a console. Not to mention you can upgrade your parts in the future to further accommodate for improving graphics which in turn saves you more money for the coming years. I built mine for $580 and it still runs every game I play smoothly (my computer has average specs as well). -
