Crossfire freeze
Hey everbody,
since 1 week i can''t play crossfire anymore. Starting the game is no problem, but if I enter my password, the problem begins. Sometimes the game freezes while the server or the lobby gets loaded. If I''m lucky I''m able to join a game, but when the results are loaded at the end, it freezes in 100 percent of all cases. I never get an error or anything, it just freezes.
I spent some money on this game and i always loved playing it, so it would be great if u could help me.

I forgott to mention that while playing the only match thats possible(before the screen freezes), I cant read what the others write. I can still read what I write, but the others are "invisible". I dont know if thats important, but its anoying too.

theres not much more to say honestly...the game just completly freezes if the game results are loaded. u cant do anything anymore. theres no error message or anything, and if i open the task manager, it say that the game is still running normal. If u dont understand what i mean, i could upload a screenshot?! greets

No. It just freezes after the game, when it says "game results are loaded". I forgott to mention that while playing the game(before it freezes), I cant read the chat. Its like "inivisible", i can still read what I write but not what the others are wraiting.

They are writting
And yes, I see everything else, for example if somebody leaves the game, except the stuff other people are writting. And after the first match, like already mentioned, the screen freezes while loading the game results. Is there nobody having an idea how to solve this problem? -

I have the same EXACT problem.
Disabling antivirus and firewall does not help at all. Tried to reinstall CF countless times, tried to use gamebooster to get rid of unnecessary background applications, restarting computer.....nothing works
Had this problem for almost a week. And i am sort of p*ssed because some of my zp items are running out soon and i cant play CF :'(......

Have you done anything irregular from your computer routine since the last time crossfire worked, such as downloading another game, or installing mods? Perhaps you added new hardware to your computer?
Answering these questions may assist me in helping you.
For now, my only suggestion (since this happened about a week ago) is set your computer to the last restore point created. Go to Start > Search > System Restore. Choose the most recent restore point (unless it was during the time you received the Crossfire error). This will remove any saved progress, or downloaded applications from the restore point date until now, so make a wise decision before going ahead with this! -
wow i can't believe it...after the last patch, i was able to play crossfire again and I really thought z8games patched the bug finally...played for one week, and now the bug returned. I didn't do anything, it's just there again. IM SO MAD! fk it, it's just so anoying...:( PLEASE FIX IT!

I guess I mentioned everything in the thread, but here we go again...I start crossfire, and type in my password. Then I try to enter a server. If i'm lucky, I'm able to do that, if I'm unlucky, crossfire already freezes at this point. But let's say I'm lucky, then I' joining a channel. Same thing again. If I get lucky again, I can join a game. Now I can play normal, except I can't read any chat. After the game when it says "loading game results" crossfire freezes in 100 percent of all cases. I get no error message or anything, it just freezes. Even my task manages says that it still runs normal. The only possibility to leave the freezen screen (music is still runing btw) is now to finish the game with task manager.

I dont even know if someone's still reading what i write in here, but i just don't wanna give up. I actually just downloaded crossfire europe, which works with the same hgw game watcher and stuff, and it works completly normal without any bug => i can't be my computer!
