PSG1 - Love It or Hate It?

What's your opinion on this sniper rifle? Personally I love it. It's easier to get 1 hit kills with than the Dragunov in my opinion as the areas to aim for aren't separated. I love it's high automatic firing rate. I love the quick reload and draw time. I love it's beautiful no scoping capabilities. The only thing I don't like is that you can't full zoom with this gun. What's your opinion on this sniper rifle and someone talk about the Red Dragon cause I wants! XD

I think it was only the Red one that you can multi fire Im not sure

I prefer my AWM everytime

The only sniper rifle that shoots faster than the PSG1 was the PSG1 Red Dragon which fired 2-3 times faster. The PSG1 is full auto but this isn't noticeable really. Just zoom in and hold in your trigger and it keeps firing slowly.

This is the main gun I try to get in Alaska,Its a good gun if you can aim it.

PSG-1 sucks. Aways does 89-90 damage for me. I get MVP but not ACE with this gun, seeing as it never kills anyone, and i get ks a lot.

The PSG1 WILL 1 hit kill in the upper chest or higher, unless they have armour. Likewise the Dragunov WILL 1 hit kill in the stomach unless they have armour.

Meh on Alaska I own with it. Perhaps that's why I like it I suppose.

i hate it i have the regular one that you can't buy with coupons anymore. slow reload, bad damage, ugly, 5 bullets, way too heavy. it sounds kinda cool though.

the psg you win for 7 days is better. it's so light weight.

biggest waste of coupons ever. i wish they'd give back the coupons people put into it since you can't even get it anymore. i'd be happy to trade and add coupons for the red dragon even tho i havn't tried it.

i personally like the psg. its lighter than other sniper except m700 and has faster fireing rate than others. it is 1 shot 1 kill in stomach or the mid section i think. but the lack of double zoom make it a bit crap. so in the end i go 4 dargonov which i think is a better verson of psg.

I don't own one, but I can use it as effectively as the AWM in Alaska. It's very light (compared to Dragunov + AWM), so I jump-shot and quickscope everyone. The extra zoom makes it easier to get one hit kills on the upper chest.

It's not a bad gun. But i'd rather play with a AWM or M700.

Fantastic from Alaska experience. You aim at stomach and lower, and it's a 1-shot kill.

I personally like the lack of full scope, as in my usual uncoordination I randomly switch to the wrong scope and stuff.

I also find that you can re-aim better while scoped in [probably personal feeling]. I can camp and readjust aim for people jumping around, while with my AWM I can't.

In C.Q.C. its a pretty good rifle. Especially the Red Dragon. However, in large open areas it fails to match up to the AWM. Never the less, a fine weapon, just requires better aiming skills.
