Ping issues post here!

As many of you may have realized, many people experienced issues with their ping lately. Your average ping will sometimes go up to unbelievable numbers while playing. This thread is mainly to find out how many people have this issue. If you do have this issue, simply post yes I do have this issue or something similar to that. If you wanna be more specific, state your average ping and your highest ping you have "achieved". I just want to see how many people have this issue and ANYONE who has this ping problem can post.

my highest ping was 450 but thats cuz other ppl was using youtube on my network lol,my lowest used to be 44 but ever since they did sumthing it stays at 56...

Usually 50.

Sometimes spikes up to 400's, 750 is the highest. Doesnt happen often, though.

that unbelievably high ping for me would be in like the 80s lmao. i am usually 35 though

4/5 games I play that are 5 v 5, 5+ people have over 150 ping. I don't know why, but ever since cf has moved to z8games everyone ping has gone up. Such as sometimes mine is 52 which is use to be, and now its usually 62+

Lowest would hover around 30, then spike up to 150-ish sometimes (in pubs).

Mine went from 52 to about 40. My only issue is the people with high ping. No reg and lag shots all the time can really get on your nerves quick.

I'm wondering why don't the people with 300+ ping just play CF China?
I assume they are in the middle east more or less, or am I wrong?

i and i know some ppl that have the same problem from 135-140 im at 160-180, it's really unplayable the ping is not so high but when i switch guns it takes about 3 sec and when i hit ppl in the head they don't die

Mine is supposed to be 160 but it's always 220-450

Omg I hate when you empty try to kill someone and they dont take ANY damage!!! Once when this happened I nearly threw my PC out out of my window (sarcasm:D)

Remember to note real ping fluxuations. If your ping spikes once, 50 points or something, in a game then it's probably just a random occurance.

Try to log changes over time. If your ping was down to 120 for 4 weeks and then all of a sudden goes up to 250 for more than 2 or 3 days then there might be an issue.

Also something to note. Ping related issues may have nothing to do with the server. The servers receive regular maintenance and get rebooted often, as well as network code upgrades etc. The issue may be related to internet traffic, routing issues especially for oversees users. Time of Day, server traffic to our site or game. Other programs your running on your computer, your own computers performance.. There are a million factors that can go into a game being laggy one minute and fine the next.

All of this may sound obvious, but you would be surprised how many people just post in panic because their ping jumped a few points for a couple hours on a Friday night.

So just take that into consideration when reporting changes in ping. Perhaps with some real information we can take a look here to see if there is any major issue on our end.

mines usually around 115 but spikes due to my wireless, it never really bothers me i just run back and hide until its ok.
