him placing at PAX was the first noteworthy thing he has done in any game. he hasn't won anything in css, ava, cf, sa, or anything else. huge joke in the source community. known for cheating in several games.
Massive E-Sports - played bc2 (zoidberg is good at nearly everygame he plays)
Legacy E-Sports - played with decent players, was only at 1 lan. they didn't win. a bunch of legacy players got in trouble in cal for cheating, don't know anything about them in other games.
]
that zoidberg that was on massive was a fake 1 that blew.the real zoid didnt play bc2 really. i know this cause ive played with him at lan. and legacy was considered the second best team in bc2. and i was on legacy. and idk about the cod4 legacy team but i remember crying that after they won cal m in cod4 dynamic paid them to join them and stole his team from him
and btw im not trying to defend powell. im just trying to tell people not to try and bash teams from games they have no clue about. -
Im so confused your going way off topic, The scene still has atleast a 20k payout to the invite team that wins easily somewhere around there to lazy to go to esea and look but i know s10 had 100k + to leagues (just 1.6/source) with 3-4 (O/IM/M/I) highest payouts going to invite, do the math that one lan is more then you make in a year. You keep trying to compare an Old school powerhouse fps game to that has had it time, to a primed up WD40'd out SC 2. you're idiotic.
OFC 1.6 IS DYING AFTER 12+ years since the first cs you'd think so right?!
(also note i thought this was about cf vs cs (2 fps's))
1st place in esea-m was 1100. WOGL's prize was 1000.
ESEA-Invite had $18k in prizes all together. 1st place got 10k not 20k. ESEA did no have 100k+ to all leagues. -

Seriously i love how you're still comparing base numbers based on numbers today when im clearly stating this game has had its time dumbass but it is still more relivant then cf you're only proving my point
1st - $10,000
2nd - $4,000
3rd - $2,000
4th - $1,400
5th - $1,100
6th - $1,100
(just for 1.6 last season) esea did have over a 100k leagues (add sc2 (if they have a league idk i heard they were) also add CSS's prizes and tf2 prizes.... once again CS HAS HAD ITS TIME WE KNOW, iTS SAD THOUGH U SPITE IT YET YOU STILL HAVE CHECKED THOSE NUMBERS BACK IN THE DAY SILLYYYYY -

You're right. You being a reject intermediate caliber 1.6 player are better than someone who plays internationally in CS:S winning lans and tournaments left and right solely for the fact that you played 1.6 and not another game.
Make sense now? -
Thanks for confirming that esea did not give 20k to whoever placed first like you said.

dude once again your logic fails, learn to read so you get mad and try to spite me?
I do not care about my main/im exp (no i dont care i never made invite) but i played when the game was played like no other and enjoyed every minute of it even reaped some rewards from it. However 1. that is just for invite lan final those payouts? confused (esea also would pay for any team members that needed travel fee's) AGAIN IM NOT COMPARING ME TO ANYONE. AND I NEVER ONCE SAID I WAS BETTER THEN ANYONE but you, seem to be the one who only is fueled of spiting and trying to down people to make yourself look better. Lets get back to the facts NUMBERS.

One huge event per month. Looking pretty good to me.
We already had IEM5 this year AND other big events in the early 2011.
AND we still have ESWC, WCG, GC, and more to come in 2011.
So, those 3 events alone, are of order €88,000 for the past 3 months.
Source can't even come close to that.
I'm calling you out source player, show your numbers for the last 3 months.
Can't do it? Can't beat it? Well, then you lose.
1.6 is fine, and is the successful version of CS.
My job here, is to show you the facts. Here they are.
Your job (source player) is to rage.

Here is a small collection of evidences / fun facts and some trolling.

THE I CANT READ SO I POST A WALL OF TEXT.
Teams had to pay a deposit at the beginning of the season. This is not the same as ESEA paying for travel expenses. -
Claim: 1.6 is still going strong in NA.
Post: List of events, none of which are in the NA. (Except IEM qualifier).
You learn to read. My logic is sound. Let me repeat it once more.
Being mediocre at a game that is prestigious does not make you better than someone who wins events in another game.
You being a main level 1.6 player who never went anywhere, does not make you better than a cs:s player who wins leagues/tournaments at an invite level.(being out almost 10 full years itself) yet its still going strong in N.A atleastdude once again your logic fails, learn to read so you get mad and try to spite me?

So, those 3 events alone, are of order €88,000 for the past 3 months.
Source can't even come close to that.
I'm calling you out source player, show your numbers for the last 3 months.
Can't do it? Can't beat it? Well, then you lose.
1.6 is fine, and is the successful version of CS.
My job here, is to show you the facts. Here they are.
Your job (source player) is to rage.
Fight with the facts!
Here is a small collection of evidences / fun facts and some trolling.

About CS:GO

From the competitive play point of view.
We will need to wait for it to come out, and see how it plays.
Nothing more to it.
So now i have provided you with actually FACTS, are you going to down me again (im a subcore medicore 1.6 player (Ohh nooo)). I succedded quite well if you ask me im happy i play games for fun, if something fuels out of it sweet if not, oh well it wasted my time like i needed the game to do cause bored
again this isnt even when cs 1.6 was truely relivant -____- -
How many of those lans were in North America? What did I say? The lan scene in North America is non-existent.
THE I CANT READ SO I POST A WALL OF TEXT.
Teams had to pay a deposit at the beginning of the season. This is not the same as ESEA paying for travel expenses.
you are dumb as a box of rocks, done with you lol
me saying strong once again ITS BETTER THEN CF, which is what the comparasions are, your brought css and all theses side games into then brought my experience into it, which you dont even know ( your completely billigerant....) again how'd i know youd turn to, trying to (down me by posting im a medicore yada yada 1.6 player lol....) news flash i made it further in 1.6 then you would/will in any game.
Also where is this comparasion of me being an intermediate 1.6 player have anything to do with an international css lan winner, you sir a fckin dumb /faceplam /done here your blind -
you are dumb as a box of rocks, done with you lol
I'm dumb as a box of rocks, but you can't even comprehend a simple argument.
PS: Doesn't change the fact that 1.6 is dieing in NA.
PSS: Doesn't change the fact that once the EU lan scene falls through 1.6 is done for. -
you are dumb as a box of rocks, done with you lol
Dear Sir,
You recently posted a massive wall of text primarily containing links to events held outside of North America when the entire arguement was focused on the CS 1.6 scene in North America. I am pretty sure your in no position to call someone dumb. -
Hey ******, I mean greggor.
You know why I listed the games I did?
Because those are the games that the person the thread was talking about played. Those were the games that he claimed he accomplished things in.
It had nothing to do with 1.6 being better or worse than cs:s.
PS: 1.6 holds nothing to RTS/MOBA. You better make a post on HLTV letting everyone know that is futile for them to play the game they enjoy playing. -
All i asked is what did those games ever mean ever? lol then you said
"and 1.6 is currently a joke compared to RTS/MOBA games. i guess that means whoever wins the next IEM WC should off themselves."
then i decided to show you some facts that 1. cs obviously cant be compared to anything other then a COMP FPS(note cs released early 2000's) not early 2008-2012
im simply stating facts cs 1.6 is still around and getting way more competitive support then cf or any of those other games as i posted. and yes the NA Scene is still relivant compared to CF LIKE I SAID 20 X? -

There never was an argument that cs has more competitive support than crossfire. You made that argument up yourself. Like I said before, you're a ****ing idiot.
When's the last time there was a million dollar LAN in cs? Oh wait never.
iLLicit and snowmen, throw yours up. -
When the King of Far, Far Away 'croaks', it is up to Shrek, Donkey and Puss in Boots go off to bring back the next heir to the throne, Artie. Whilst Shrek and his crew are gone, Prince Charming brings together all evil fairy tale creatures in an attempt to take over as the new king.
-
So since there's a better game on the market, why play cs?

My arguement is way more liable and makes 10x more sense comparing two fps's rather than a dota based game / sc2 which is basically a korean national sport..... yes i know cs wont mount to the numbers and im not saying "EVERYONE PLAY CS" ima solidify (ill post this again) that cs was/is the top computer<- keyword* fps to date...... my opinion no duh ( we all have opinions. ) no but when was the last time any fps's mounted ALL THE LAN WINNINGS TO CS? -
This thread is an embodiment of why I hate most people on these forums. Akin to arguing with a wall.
Yo Greggor, as someone who is neutral to the argument, I really have to tell you that you are ******ed. Please learn to read and COMPREHEND what was written before you respond; use both sides of your brain, bro.
