Need help

I know it's in the wrong section but since no one's even helping in the Help and Support.

I have the HGW error that says : Timed out waiting for initialing xtrap-enging.

I tried ALOT of stuff, I don't know if someone has the solution to this problem but w/e.

Any suggestions?

Only recent things I've downloaded are songs, and Crossfire installer. It's only doing this since the patch.

I've had similar errors that I fixed by uninstalling Internet Explorer from the Run option in the startup, I want to try this but I don't remember what to type.

I would start by making there that there aren't any programs that "hook" onto the game such as Xfire, Bandicam, etc. Then run your game and see if it works.

Another suggestion, try turning off Window's Firewall via Control Panel and delete the Xtrap and HGWC folders/files. The crossfire launcher will automatically redownload these file as if you've barely installed Crossfire. Make sure you allow a connection through your firewall if it does prompt you in the future, as this very well may be your problem, considering the error is based on some sort of connection to a server of some sort.

Have you been getting any bad image show ups?

and make sure you have the right dll's in the xtrap folder.

Send in a ticket to have support look into the matter.

And please don't go around posting in other areas of the forum just to get an answer.
