how to handle an AK properly - a guide to CFers who have problems with AK
many people complain about how they can never get ACE. today i want to give you guys some advices on how to handle an AK properly.
i just started playing the english version of crossfire. before i started playing the english version, i had played crossfire china for two years. the weapon i love the most is, of course, the ak47 series. lots of people have problems handling these amazing weapons. true, they are powerful weapons, the only weapons who can headshot someone with a bulletproof helmet with one bullet. but their recoil made them hard to control. you could be aiming for their waist and after the third or fourth shot, BANG! your character yells "headshot!"
so, AK! someone asked me before. how to control AK? precision? experience? or just luck?
the most important thing you need to be able to handle AK properly, is confidence. believe you will kill him. believe you can fire before he does it.
AK, how to use it? someone asked me before. shooting continuously? or one shot at a time?
well, no matter, because if you are that good, there s no difference between the two. it would be the same speed.
AK, how to avoid the enemy, and shoot him dead? someone asked me before. because in maps like ship td, pyramid td, when it gets violent, the moment you step out of the revival point, a grenade flies by and kills you.
how to avoid the enemy? that, will require you to focus your attention on the radar, on the radio, and listen HARD at the steps.
thusly said, AK cannot be handled roughly. if you just fire randomly, will you kill the enemy?
of course not.
now, get a pencil, and copy this down.
"when you are using AK, NEVER move while you are shooting."
true, when you are shooting a M4A1, or a XM8, or a Thompson submachine gun, you move around. M4A1 and XM8, because its precision is a hell lot better than its damage, and Thompson, well, why would it be called a submachine gun?
but, you will ask, i killed lots of people with AK while i was moving!
true, however, that's not handling an AK, that's pure luck.
so the principle of using AK is very simple:
shoot at enemy from point A with 3-5 bullets, and then, if he didnt die, move to B, and fire with another 3-5 bullets.
"that's it?" you ask, incredulously.
that's it. and, if you dont have time to drag your mouse to that guy's waist, then shoot one shot at a time.
but wait,
"when you are using AK, NEVER move while you are shooting."
i take it back. what i said was for newbies, experts, and WCG champions. its not impossible. but no one have ever done it yet.
i cant, but i can imagine. you move, and stop only for 0.1 sec, shoot, and move again.
how hard is that???

Hmm. I disagree with moving and spraying being pure luck. Its easy to know where each bullet from the AK will spread to if you do it enough. Its harder then single tapping yes but not pure luck. Just focus on where your character is, focus on where the last bullet hit then adjust. The reason I say this is because I dont near play as much as I used to but I can out gun with the ak at long range with spraying. 90% of the time I get a head shot on the 6-7 bullet. It takes that long for me to adjust close enough to their heads. My focus is near nothing. -
