New pistols

I realized that the pistol selection should be bigger. The problem I think would be is, if the GMs added more pitols their stats would be similar since all pistols serve the same purpose almost. So I've got 3 ideas. First a FN Five-seveN (it is spelled and named that way, its not a mistake); it uses the 5.7 x 28 mm cartridge capable of armor piercing, it is the same cartridge as the P90. It has either a 10, 20 or 30 round mag and considerably accurate. The P90 and MP7 should be more powerful since it can penetrate Level II bulletproof armor. Second, is a Gyrojet MBA. The retro futuristic pistol that shoots miniature rockets at 50m ranges. Its explosion is small so I think it is suitable for CrossFire. Third is a joke weapon, it is a 18th century flintlock pistol. I believe it should be a single shot kill weapon with worse accuracy and super long reloading time.

  • sorry but stop dreaming no way they are gonna do that
  • You misunderstand what the Gyrojet is. It's bullets are rocket propelled, it's not an RPG. It is considerably less accurate and weaker than most pistols because it is rocket propelled. It's not a futuristic weapon and was a weapon seen amongst a few officers during the Vietnam War, it's older than the M16A1. It does not explode like you think on impact, it has a similar impact to other bullets. However, it is capable of piercing armour and doing some damage due to the rocket fuel inside. Also it has a long reload time and a 6 round magazine. It's similar in performance in reality to the Anaconda. It's firing rate is only 60 RPM (60 rounds a minute) which is just as fast as the Anaconda. It however has very very little recoil due to the rocket propelled firing mechanism and is light. Basically it's an M9/Anaconda cross. I would love this gun, or perhaps the Sniper Rifle or Assault Rifle versions of it.

Also, the MP7 and P90 in fact should be WEAKER as they fire armour piercing ammunition. Armour Piercing guns tend to be weaker as they are very very small in caliber and don't stay in the target to do the damage. The MP7 and P90 are only powerful against someone who has body armour on, in which case it punches through it and ends up staying in the body. Against a normal person, it just goes flying through the body and leaves a clean hole inside it rather than a sharp and massive amount of fragments in the body and knocking him down as the AK47 does.

Finally, if you want a joke weapon, I say throw in the Lee Metford. It is powerful, accurate, acceptably light for a rifle, and it's bolt actioned. Furthermore, when a round is fired it fries all the bad computers so that players can't fight back with the epic lag due to the Black Powder Smoke Effect. :D
  • According to wiki, i cant tank bullets like i do in CF.
  • lol no way...but i think a few (1 or 2) new pistols would be nice...not just ADV/GOLD/CAMO pistols. i dont know the stats or anything about the (eventually) new pistols...but i think its not a baaaaaadd baaaaadd idea... just post what u think about it.
  • A larger variety, nonetheless, would be nice.

too much choice is a bad thing, we need less pistols.
  • The USP should be introduced already. I want to challenge myself by not using a deagle however I don't want to use a pistol that is complete crap.

The P228 Requires 2 or more shots to the head and with how awful alpha and bravo servers reg I wouldn't use it. The colt pistol is ok, what's holding it back is the fact that ammo duration is the same as the desert eagle which is lame considering the desert eagle does more damage.

Honestly why is the M9 even in crossfire? Stick to counter-strike selection of pistols or better yet lower the price on the glock to match the M9.
  • The P228 is a 1 hit headshot kill... the Glock 18 is alright, just hugely overpriced. The M9 is good as an execution weapon and a fun gun. Also the Gyrojet would be nice, it's probably more like an Anaconda/Deagle combo. It's a greatly misunderstood gun. It's a pistol firing rocket propelled bullets, not a missile launcher.

not entirely sure what ak leave mass fragments ak pretty much leaves a linear wound tract and doesn't leave fragments most bullets knock people down irl a 5.56NATO round does break apart and leaves shards everywhere :\
  • Who needs more pistols how bout some really good guns?
