Making a new thread because I maxed out the amount of images aloud in the first post and sticking this to the end didn't feel right.
Anyways, on to the subject.
On 01-28-2012 I took a lot of screenshots to collect data and presented them in the above thread. This thread is a recap of the previous on to see if the data as changed.
Meant to do this 30 days later but my quarter finals for my school required all my time.
Anyways, on to the topic.
Last time the end data was this:
And according to this graph:
At 2,000 EXP average a day over 39 days, the players that are Staff Sergeant should be SFC and the SFC should be Master Sergeants by now.
So now for the recap data from this batch of 50 screenshots.
Compared to:
Instead of a increase in SCF and Master Sergeants for the high ping players, it appears the they either stagnated or decreased well the low pings players continue to appear to be ranking up at the expected rate.
The whole point of the first thread was to find out if the high ping population really was stagnating like I suspected. This recap confirms it.
For what ever reason high ping players on average are unable to reach the higher ranks well low pings appear to continue to advance.
Now the topic for this thread is to speculate why high ping players are unable to reach the higher ranks.

Either:
(a) High ping players are quiting the game before they reach higher ranks and new players replace them (A endless cycle of newbies, but for this to go on for months seems highly unlikely).
(b) High pings are losing there accounts and replacing them (The number tho is way to high for this to be a reasonable explanation)
(c) They are very inactive. (Could explain why low ranks are the norm and makes sense with CF's 1,000,000+ accounts and only about 30,000 are active at any time).
A and C mean inexperienced players are the majority (Easy targets and no one likes dieing easily over and over)
For why it would be any one of these I can't really answer.

Notice the increase in Sergents and Staff sergeants for the purple line (High pings) and a decrease in SFC and Master sergeants. It should be the other way around. -
It's been a while since I've worked with graphs and statistics, but shouldn't those be bar graphs since you're using nominal values instead of numeric ones?
True, but compounded Bar Graphs can be harder to compare then multi-line charts.
Chose Line charts because it is easier to see the difference between 2 numbers on the same value.
