Earbuds/Headphone/Headsets?

Which type of earbuds/headphones/headsets should I buy? Around 40-50 budget. Link me to the product, and I'm already considering Steel Series, so suggest something other then that.

Otherwise, discuss.

EDIT: I'm looking for something that will allow me to hear footsteps from farther away, planting, breathing (for GM) and footsteps from BHing since GM is one of my favorite and best modes.

-Also, you could just post your Ear Buds, HeadSets, or Headphones and any other information on them.

(I recommend posting Ear Buds, since my Mom claims that Headsets/Headphones make you go deaf faster or something, but it's not like I'm going to blast it loud. She say I might be able to get Headsets/Headphones but it's really unlikely.)

And you don't have to post one with a microphone since I already have one, but I'm probably going to get a new one and a better/faster mousepad.

Well, I plan on using these for my iPhone (when I travel to Hawaii and long car trips), school, etc. Still looking. Considering Beats by Dre (EarBuds), since they're only $50 used (like new though), but I've heard they're way overrated for their quality.

I use my iPod headphones. Not exactly the best....but it helps a bit.

If you're looking for earbuds... Try the skullcandy ink'ds, 20 dollars without the in-line mic.
OR you can go with it's big brother skullcandy titans, never tried them but my friend has and he says they're pretty good.

when it comes to this game get yourself a pair of cheap headphones. I'm talking 20$ panasonic stereo pieces of crap. They have less bass which is non directional sound. It's all treble which is directional.

Still looking. The Best Buy ones are a little expensive, the Skullcandy ink'd or Titans are looking good right now.

If you want to actually hear things like you stated you're going too need headset not earbuds. but Skull candy are way over rated imo I had 2 pairs break in 1 months. " 1 broke the day after I got them"

Titans are good for Gm/SnD and last way more than SkullCandy headsets.

I thought this only happened to me, but yeah, I have to agree on the fact that they're awful. Sound quality isn't that great and they often come half broken in the box or break shortly after you use them.

I've had Skullcandy inkd's for nearly a year now and I have a replacement plan on them too.. Soo 20 bucks lasts me about 1.5-2 years. Dunno what you guys had but the headphones are terrible or you don't know how to take care of them..
Ink'ds and Titans both have above average sound, except the bass on the Ink'ds kind of.. lowers I guess after a few months but they're still amazing.
They handle both Music and gaming fairly well.

So if I'm allowed to, the Plantronics are looking good for me right now.

If I can't get a headset, then I have the titans and ink'd as backups. The Plantronics look completely amazing and awesome for the price but I'm not sure about the sound quality.

I would say go for any headset but since you mentioned GM then turtle beaches x11 or x12 should do better than most. There's also some microsoft headset I forgot what it's called, some of the guys from OldLegends use it.

turtles are pretty good, I've used them from xbox. The gamecom's sound is decent not as good as my old arena surround sound headset; for the price their pretty amazing.

As in the grab it and when you pull off your headset it yanks out your hair, cause that shiz hurts.

I have Plantronics gamecom, it is soft and clear but big, not for walking around. Altec Lansing makes good earbuds i think. Skullcandy buds are very good as well but I dont like skull images.

So Altec Lansing for travel, Plantronics or Creative Fatal1ty for home.
