The problem right now is caused when the winning team has a disconnect.

This may be something that we cannot fix.

Essentially 19 according to the scripts we have is correct, believe me I'm knee deep in your db records right now! :) the problem is the couple extra games are where there were disconnects on both teams which creates an invalid game scenario.

IE you play a 4v4 and by the end of the game it ends up in a 3v3.

We're looking in to what we can do with this scenario.

Ah alright, thanks for keeping us updated, it means a lot.

Hopefully nobody thinks this is some sort of scandal, what they fix for me they're actually fixing for everybody. Think of the bigger picture before you accuse favoritism just in case anyone was thinking that.
  • Ultimately in order to keep the integrity of the game at a 4v4 level (not reducing it to 3v3) we are going to have to make an adjustment to the disconnect rules.

Valid Games count when a game ends with at least 4 members on one side.

What this gives us is scenarios like this:

Keeps the winning clan as winning even if their opponents leave (at any time during the match). In addition it creates a loss for the clans who leave.

However the unavoidable result from this is when a disconnect happens. In some cases, where both teams have less than 4 players by the time the game ends it will invalidate the match.

We realize that this is a less than ideal scenario and creates some sort of case where if you disconnect down to 3 v 3 (or lower) then the game will not count. But this is the best solution to combat the fact that the majority of games involve one side completely leaving.

I also want to point out that teams with 5+ players have less likely a chance to invalidate their match due to a disconnect since the match will still likely end with 4+ players on one side.

What we get is this. If 10% of the games played involve some sort of invalidating disconnect then it's a better scenario than not counting 75% of the games that involve teams leaving.

The match db for the clan server is very complex and we're doing our best on this.

All things considered I think that's still a good fix, thanks.

mr Saidin there's a lot a problems of server host error already. and we know it's hard for you guys to deal with, why can't just cancel the event until the the server is properly working. its sucks for everyone to go through this... and for the gold katana why z8games can't just give it to everyone? give it everyone who complete the 30 hours GM Clan War and 30 Gm regular for the ribbon... WHAT YOU ALL THINK?

    Just Saying...........
  • He doesn't respond except to GodsGunman trolololol. How about you ask for us.

I'm sure he will get to that when he can. He's not on the forums all day so he can only post so many times. I'm not sure if making a whole new thread about the issue would be the way to go or not (but make sure not to make it about you specifically, make it about everyone and generalize it).
  • That's bad..

Our clan cancelled this event because of abuse. That means almost every oponent ragequitted. We ended up with 33% in the beginning. Now, after the rule change we got 71%. Better luck next time.
