Qustions about recording

I want help in making videos for CFFA and i have some questions:
1-what is best video recorder.
2-must it be a reply video or i can record while playing.
3-can some1 plz explain me the 7 types of videos of the CFFA Cuz i didnt understand from GM(Saidin) post.

1- Fraps will do the job perfectly, but it'll reduce your fps while recording, which can give you trouble getting good footage if your rig sucks (true story).

2- You can use both if you want to.

3- there are 6 categories, despite the typo :
feature film = movie between 2 and 6 minutes long
short = between 1 and 2 minutes

The title of the others speak for themselves...

And if you can't get ahold of FRAPS, then try for Bandicam. Although FRAPS FTW!
