Mouse

In short Optical mice are more precise at lower a DPI settings, so if your looking for precision Optical is the way to go, if your not going to game THAT much a laser is fine (Note laser mice can be very picky about the surface they pick up)
On a side note playing with an Optical mouse on a large mousepad, See example, is the best way to play any game in my opinion.
Example:
-
ROCCAT K[+] with aim assistance
if by aim assistance you mean public cheats, then yes
rat mice aren't worth getting
mx518 all the way
out of all the mice i have used (deathadder, kone[+], kova[+]) i find the mx518 the best considering it fits straight into my hand, the buttons don't click when you rest your finger on them (main problem for me with deathadder) and it just has a nicer feel than the roccat mice i have.
i really want to try out an intellimouse or a xai, even though i heard a xai is basically pretty awful for its price. intellimouse is quite cheap and i heard it was amazing as well.
conclusion: mx518 or intellimouse are the best -

Kinzu is best for holding. Make a kinzadder, win everything. -
Mouse shape is really important and personal to each individual.
I have the Deathadder and I feel it is too low for palm grip and too large for claw grips for FPS.
I recommend the new 2012 Razer Imperator has the best tracking, and is very comfortable for palm grip players.
Saitek has a small laser gaming mouse that is good for finger tip grips.
Steelseries are light and low, so Xai is also a very low mouse, which won't fit me. You can take a look at the Sensei.
Logitech mouse are palm grips but they are heavier than Razer.
Try a few different ones before you buy if it is possible. -

personally hated the deathadder. i felt like it was a bit shakey when trying to shoot the spammable spot from t side outside A in factory. could be because my polling rate was too high or something as well.
