Using Weapon skins

Well xFamousx is totally busted..Although I've seen this razer gun skin mod in 2 montages so far..one was an entry for like VirtualMediaTV. Meh I wish we could use this gun skin mod cause it looks so awesome, plus I got a razer deathadder and razer ultimate blackwidow keyboard!!

Is using a custom gun skins via editing rez files as well as by passing. Just wondering if this is bannable or not?

We do not condone modifying game files, if a problem does occur we will be unable to assist you. Additionally, modifying game files may cause harm to your installation and affect game performance.


I asked them bout it, they seemed ok with it. Besides famous made videos and he isn't banned yet.

[MOD]Rory: Changing weapon skins is changing .rez files. Doing so is modifying game reliant mechanics of the game which is against the rules/ToS and can get you banned. It's 100% your risk if xtrap suddenly starts scanning a certain rez (strangely enough with the numbers 123) file and getting you auto banned.
