Okay, so I keep hearing about how all the variations of weapons are the same except looks, scopes, or ammo size.

I find this to be false.

I picked up an M4A1-Adv once in-game, and this SIGNIFICANTLY BETTER because of REDUCED RECOIL. I do own the M4, and it's my main and permanent weapon. I noticed a huge difference in recoil. The shots of the adv were always way more precise, and I ALWAYS got the kill. Compared to the M4 itself, where if I just crouched and shot, I'd most likely miss the target more times than I could count on my fingers.

IS the Adv honestly the same thing? Because it just doesn't feel like it.

Its all the same thing. Its just the other M4s have larger clip and a silncer.
Stats do not change.

The silenced versions (naturally) have a different recoil pattern than the unsilenced.

I know that, but I do so much better with the Adv than the regular M4. I don't know why!

The custom act like it don't want to shoot straight sometimes. Like the recoil being high or bad accuracy.
