TOURNAMENT RULES

It is mandatory for all players to read the rules prior to match play to make sure everyone abide by the rules. Failure to do so may lead to player or team disqualification, also depending on the offense may cause player accounts to suffer additional penalty outside the tournament.

Any rules broken, be it those of this specific tournament set or the Z8 Terms & Conditions will result in suspension or disqualification of either the player or their team.

C4 Planting
Black List must plant where the C4 is visible, accessible with single jump obstacles (no double, long, triple jump or boosted/stacked plant spots) and can be legally defused by at least 3 angles.

Boosting/Stacking
Both situations are allowed as long as they do not pertain to reaching glitched areas or sections typically not intended to be on by players. Planting C4 in such situations is disallowed.

Glitches
Glitching is strictly prohibited, such as moving through boxes, walls, rooftops or other areas used to exploit an advantage not intended for play against another team .

Prohibited Weapons/Gear
Player's may leave the room to re-equip themselves if they are noted to bringing in such weapons or gear not accepted in the previous list.
Player's caught with a weapon/gear after 30 seconds of round play automatically forfeit the round to the other team.
Firing/Using any of the prohibited weapons/gear in any fashion automatically forfeits the round, regardless of the time frame.
If a player is forced to leave due to such, they must wait until next round for them to spawn with the rest of their team.
Multiple violations or continued use of prohibited weapons or gear will cause the offending player to be suspended from further play.
If a player is accused of using a particular item not visible on the character, the player must take a screen shot at the beginning of the next round or as soon as possible to be submitted with the results to the Overwatch of the match.

Match Wins
The team with the most rounds won with BL and GR combined move on to the next match.

Match 1 - Laboratory
Match 2 - Hakenkreuz
Match 3 - Complex
Match 4 - Lost Relic
Match 5 - Metro
Match 6 - Bio Facility
(Cycle until necessary.)

Room Setup
All rooms will be created in Foxtrot-4 and UK2-4 respectively to their divisions.
Rooms will typically be created by the Overwatch for gametime, however in the event the room is not present the home team is to use the following setup;
-Room Name: <Home Team> Match <#>
(Where # is the current stage of the bracket the home team is currently standing.)
-Max Players: 16
-Observer: Yes (Max 6)
-Rounds: 9
-Able to join
-1st Person
-Password: Team Leaders will be PM'd passwords for their match beforehand, only the home team, opposing team and the Overwatch will know these passwords.
Home team gets to decide which side they wish to play first.

-Teams will play each side at least once fully before determining a winner. After 9 Rounds, the teams must switch places and begin another game to conclude the results.

Failure to Show
Teams that fail to meet the requirements (not having 5 members for instance) and times for play automatically forfeit the match after 10 minutes of absence. Screenshots must be taken by the other team or by the Overwatch if present as notable proof.
In the event neither team shows for their matchup there will be a 3 day grace to schedule another slot for play, otherwise both teams will be automatically disqualified.

Namechanges
Player's that change their name after registering for the tournament will not be eligible for play or prizes unless a PM is sent to [MOD]Talonblaze before the bracket begins and must be done so by the Team Leader.

Tie Breakers
In the event of a tie, the map will be set to Arena Elimination for 9 rounds. Winner moves onto the next match. Same restrictions to weapons and gear still apply.

Disconnects/Errors/Leaving
Players that leave the room and then rejoin must wait until the next round to spawn with their teammates, late spawns will cause the player to forfeit the round if they begin to play for their team.

Finals - UK vs NA Divisions
4 Games will be played with the Room Setup rules above.
2 Games in NA
2 Games in UK
In the event of a tie breaker, each will play Arena Elimination in each server (UK and NA respectively)
If they tie there as well, the player who scored Ace for their team counts as the victory.
In the event of a tie for Ace the player who scored MVP with the highest point total will count as a victory for their team.

Overwatch
These are staff and volunteers chosen by them to observe and monitor matches for fair play as well as an official recorder in the event either team fails to submit their results. (In the event an Overwatch is not present and such a case happens, they must reschedule for a rematch.) They are the only ones with access to a rooms password besides the teams who are matched up for that session.

Timezones
All times are referred to CF's server time (EST).

Not all teams will be eligible for play.

Failure to agree to any of these terms denies you the ability to play in this tournament.

GROWLER

Failure to use or submit Growler videos will mean that any accusations will be solely judged by the Overwatch team and the evidence they have collected. If in the event you are found as such, there will not be any disputes for the actions that follow.
Any manipulations will also be carefully taken into consideration with multiple sources to compare with, anyone found doing so will automatically be removed from the tournament and their team disqualified for that match.

To submit a video, upload it to a file sharing site such as Rapishare, Mediafire or Depositfiles. Then copy the download link and send it as a Personal Message to [MOD]Talonblaze with your Team Name as the subject and your IGN and the video link in the message.

It is recommended that Team Leaders collect them all after the match and submit them in one go.

A 2 day grace period is given to players to be able to submit videos after the match. Anything after that will be dismissed and not taken into account.

To set up a time, PM me with your desired timeslots. The oppositions Team Leader will then be PM'ed it. If a status shows CONFIRMED, players will play at the agreed time. If a status shows UNCONFIRMED the team has not responded or has not agreed to the dates. If nothing else is arranged before that time, it goes to Default Times.

Home teams are the top most designated team in the bracket.
