Maybe it was always planned this way... look back on the cipher, nowhere did it say patch available on the 27th. The forum made that assumption.

These lines sort of imply the patch will be after the event sometime. It doesn't say to gear up after or during the invasion. Just an observation.

Feb 1st at midnight (technically the 2nd of Feb) would be consistent with most other patches. ie: Thursday morning at 12:01est and would also coincide with the end of the event.

Then again it could be the 9th of Feb. It's all speculation.

Also, is it just me or did this teaser not really tell us anything the first one didn't already?

This is just my guess about the date:

M[66] - P[90] - [7] Days MG Magazine = -31 turn it to positive and it will turn to = 31
M[66] - P[90] - [7] + [30] Days of M66 = -1 turn it to positive and it will turn to =1

Maybe, January 31, 2012 (Maintenance is like 11:59 until like 3 or 4 a.m of February 1st?)

I think that's why there's a 7 day MG magazine reward so that we can use it for extermination mode, having the patch on the 9th would make that 7 days MG magazine reward useless

Well, the dual kukris are only for extermination/terminator mode (when you're selected as the "Soul Hunter"), so it won't be available outside of that mode.
