Not to jump on the 'Suba/z8 is greedy' bandwagon, but this doesn't seem like an idea that will make them money.
Therefore, its a bad idea.

So I got to thinking about the crates mainly...it's somewhat common to win "So and so" weapon for a certain amount of times, say a 7 day axe or something. Well...what if you don't want to use it yet? This would also work the same with guns, primarily when you get many different guns at the same time from buying multiple crates. Below is a screenshot of my idea, which hopefully comes across rather clear. Basically, when you purchase a gun for a certain amount or you win it from a crate, it will remain in an inactive state until you activate it. Once a weapon is activated, the timer will start on it (for 7 days, 30 days, etc) until the time expires, and then the gun will be gone. However, the timer will not start to go down on the gun until it is activated, but the weapon may not be used until it is activated. Also, pardon the photoshop, as I am currently not in this situation myself, but have been.
also once you activated u cant deactivate it because u would have these guns for a very long time if you deactivate every time you get off crossfire, good idea! -

Woot, way to go sphere! yeah! you get those supporters. Anywho, this is an amazing idea that sphere came up with one lateish night on ventrilo. Please implement this idea, it would be secksy. Oh and uh, sphere, my bunny hope is so better than yours =D, cya on vent.
