Weekend Purchasing Issues - Updated Feb 1

After further investigation we determined that there were approximately 700 accounts engaged in abuse of the above problem. Due to the lag, players were allowed the ability to purchase massive quantities of ZP items including ZP Crates. Some accounts were spending the equivalent of thousands of dollars of ZP items in a matter of a few minutes.

Because of this massive quantity of abuse we have rolled back those specific account inventories to Jan 20th (the moment the problem started). Players may use their original point totals to buy the proper amounts of items and crates from this point on.


We have compensated those accounts with some GP as a token for the loss they would have incurred due to normal playing time within the game, and the fact that they were able to play with those weapons free of charge for the time this problem was being investigated in is more than enough to compensate them for this problem.


The server lag issues were resolved and we have not seen any issues as we go forward.


Please note that ZP items, while virtual, are not free. They cost everyone money including us. If you attempt to abuse purchase bugs then this is what you can expect happen to your account. 10,000 ZP should not be able to buy 540,000 ZP worth of in-game items.




This message is for anyone who may have had a purchase issue from Friday January 19th through Monday January 23rd.


We have determined two minor issues involving both point deposits and item purchases within the game. These issues did not affect all accounts. If you had no problems with item purchases or zp deposits then you can disregard this message.


For those who purchased items over the weekend and received the item, they may have noticed that points were not deducted from their account. In these cases we will be removing those items from the affected accounts. The points issue was corrected, if you would like to use the item again, simply rebuy it from the mall as normal. If you used your points on other things and cannot rebuy the item, then consider the free use of the item over the weekend our gift to you for the problem that occurred.

For those who had problems with ZP deposits we will be adding the points to your account. As with all zp transactions, very detailed, very specific records are kept. In this case it was a communication problem on our site. While we had the transaction record in our system, it was not showing up properly when it was time to give out the points. All players affected by this should have their points on their accounts today.
