eSchizy's Quick Scoping/Sniping TUT
If your looking for a guide to camping and hard scoping, this is not the place for you.
Hello,I know there is most-likely a lot of threads about sniping/quick scoping or whatever you want to call it,but I'm only here to share my play style with the rest of you,to maybe enlighten some players.
Ahem, anyway let's start it shall we?
Part I
Okay,so if you're a completely new at sniping, you've maybe heard of the common camping and sniping method, which MIGHT be your play style, but the harder, though much more fun way is,quick scoping. This takes months to master, but well pays off when you start mowing down those sprayers.
Quick scoping is rapidly sniping or per' say scoping and shooting at a brisk pace.
And at first, newbies will always say "oh thats easy i can do that" WRONG.
So,on behalf of that, though it is hard, this tutorial may brighten your skills some.
How To: To quick scope,as said above, zoom in and briskly shoot your enemy before he does you off. This will take serious practice. So,as a newbie, don't rush just yet...
Find some good corners,or hot spots, from there you can practice those quick shots, without running into a sprayer who blows holes in your precious face. When farther, you have a lower profile,so you can practice more. Another good way to practice is make a room with a friend and do a sniper battle. That's not the only option either,if you have no friends then practice on objects, such as a crate, but the smaller the object the better your aim is.
Keep this up and you will improve,be wary though, results do not show until a month or so.
Part II
Drag Shots. This takes an important role in quick scoping, when your target is moving,a drag shot can save your life. Basically,it explains it's self, you aim your scope and drag it towards your enemy and pop em'. Just like quick scopes, this takes practice, work your way up to a fast shot.
Part III
Rushing. Once you've mastered such a skill, you can start rushing. No,I don't mean rush into the enemy's face,I'm talking about flanking. Flanking means to take a route around your enemy to surprise them and take them out. I use this tactic in many games, and let me tell you,it works. But,never take the same route every time you spawn or start another round, the enemy will get suspicious, which brings me to part IV.
Part IV
KNOW YOUR MAPS. Knowing the hiding spots, camp spots, and flanking routes will definitely increase your skill. During a game you can take trick around the enemy. For example,in SnD Mexico, the tunnels make a great flank behind the enemy when they are busy fighting your team at their base. If you take that spot every time the enemy is gonna get suspicious and come from the tunnels as well, the crates by the tunnel make a great hiding spot to take out your enemy. Tunnels are good for sniping,as there is not much space to move around in,so take advantage of that. So,always learn the maps,it is very, very useful.
Conclusion
So,you've learned the basics, and the tactics, now get out there and practice.
When you first star out,it will be stressful, yes, but remember a golden rule to me,anger decreases confidence, and makes you begin to play worse. Useful tips in keeping calm is telling yourself how you could have overcome that death or counting backwards.
I hope this TUT helps some fellas/gals out there, later.

P.S. I plan to make a more extensive, longer guide if enough requests are given. I have some tips for learning maps and flank variations.

Literally "rushing" with a sniper is a stupid idea. Have fun getting quad-teamed and trying to take them all out.
Not really rushing,but flanking.
I really didn't say you had to snipe in that part, just the tactic of going around and behind your enemy.
Now,yes I've had stackers who would team me,but it's not as bad as having them in your sight is it? At least take one out from behind, and maybe even a few others with an Eagle.
