Download file when CF starts?

When i open CF and the lof on screen comes up, 2 download boxes come up:
Navcancl- Unknown file type
Ingame- Internet link
I have download both but nothing happens. They keep on coming up every time i start it.
HELP!
I have tried re-installing

i have that same problem. i did the same thing as you, the login screen looks fine until i click on the password box to login, then the boxes pop up again. i got past them three times though: once i managed to input my password and actually got to the server screen. i accidentally hit rookie server, which i can't join because above the tier, it told me i wasn't authorized to join it, then it said the server was unstable and shut down. once it said the server was unstable before i input the password, but after i got past the boxes, and another time it just closed when the boxes were gone. i have mirror download number 2, i believe, it might be three though, i tried removing all the crossfire files except for the big one that installs it, and reinstalling them, but nothing.

I got the same problem

The download thing is really annoying and wont let me play someone should fix this asap

UPDATE: ok, i still have this problem, but yesterday, i actually managed to get on. no reinstalls, didn't download either of the popups, but i got into alpha, and started playing s&d mexico that was already started. i lost, and had a problem that has happened a lot before. you know how when cf is in fullscreen, the very top left corner of cf should be aligned with the top left of your screen? well, occassionally the top left corner of cf is in the center of my screen. yeah, that's a problem. so that happened when the match was over, then the download popups started coming again, and then i just ended everything with taskk manager.

UPDATE: Hey guys i have finally fixed the problem. This is what i did in order:
Re-Download CF
Install the re-downloaded version
Restart computer
Play( d/l and install patch first. its automatic)
login without the hassle
