M4A1 Custom/Silver/Regular Power Comparison
Someone says Custom and Silver are overpowered but some others say not.
I decide to test it by myself. My friend "rluna97" helped me for this comparison.
The result is a bit surprising. Custom and Silver perform NO BETTER than Regular.
For long range chest shot, their power is EVEN LOWER than that of Regular.
Please keep in mind that, this test is only about the power for long range shot.
It does not consider accuracy, recoil, firing rate, ammo, reloading and weight.

Its better to do a SnD and drop the bomb to see the distance, then test it like how Gods does it. Long range could be anything from 50-100M
That's not the point. It's clearly almost the same distance each time. The thread is about which M4 is the best for long range. -

why can't chinese players play without stars, armour and weapons that cost 50+$?
overpowered doesn't necessarily mean it does too much damage. people that think the m4 is OP because it's probably the easiest rifle in the game to use. simple spray pattern, very little recoil + a silencer = spray all day. -

I'm also Chinese,I use AWM-camo,because it have more ammo,so I can kill more.. -
It just makes me feeling bad...

Dont worry all of those guns are great! Dont look at the difference in the numbers and think thats the only factor in game play.
I switch between all of those guns at times in 4 bags and feel the differences.
The "lower powered" silenced guns are very advantageous as you can rifle off a few shots before the enemy hones in on you. So getting 2 to 3 shots off before the enemy can lock in your direction to fire means 28 points times 3 equal 84 damage before they can engage you. One more spray at them and finished.
In ghost mode the silenced weapons are critical if you listen with headphones.
and despite the actual damage you have to consider bullet registration. You can hit an opponent with three shots and have it not register which watses critical time. Sometimes different guns perform better than there "superior higher damage counterparts" depending on the laG, bad reg, etc etc of the particular room/server you are in.

rl times are the same...
and ofc they are reduced damage, thats what suppressors do to a gun...make it quieter, and it slows the trajectory down...
bt the spray pattern is nice with all m4's, personally my fav is spring, because of the faster RL time, everything else is pretty much the same with all m4's - main difference is ammo -
Both have their own functionnality advantages over the regular M4.
M4-Custom has increased accuracy (barely noticeable, but still there), scope, silencer and additionnal ammunition.
M4-Silver has additional ammunition and a silencer, and it's recoil is better then M4-C. -

If you're getting different damages at the same range with any m4a1 aside from the custom crystal, you're doing it wrong.
They all do the same damage within 1 point aside from the custom crystal.

Your weapon guide is great. But I think you tested it BEFORE z8games decreased the custom's power.
