INCA - Z8Games - Windows 7
I know there are a lot of threads going around about windows 7 x86. But I wanted to clarify just one point on this all problem because of windows 7 x86. I saw on some threads, saying that there was a gameguard already released version that works with windows 7 x86. But I've been reading from GM's and MOD's that the problem was from gameguard. Who's suposed to release the gameguard update? You guys or INCA? And if you have read about gameguard's recent version working on windows 7 x86, can't you contact them to provide the update? I don't know who's fault is it, cause I don't know who's suposed to release the update on gameguard's auto patcher but I'm sure that Z8Games could do something about it(talk to INCA and ask them to make the update available or get you guys the gameguard update and make it available on the auto-patcher, realy don't know who's suposed to do it). I've been waiting and waiting and seems that someone hasn't been doing his job.

So I've just confirmed, played right now another game that uses gameguard(AVA) and no problem. I can confirm that the most recent gameguard version is working on windows 7 32 bit. So Z8Games, could you please explain why isn't your gameguard version updated?

Gameguard is messed up. on my old computer it would shut down crossfire every other time i would press start -
I originally ran windows 7 32 bit and got the BSOD but can confirm all works fine on 64bit windows7.
Take a look at your anti-virus as i found both avg and avast web scanner things interfer with it and made my game hang at load up. Now i'm using nod its all good.
Uninstall crossfire and then delete the z8 program files folder in x86 program files and also run ccleaner to get rid of any registry entries.
Then re-install with your anti-virus turned off and see what happens. -

By [GM]Saidin:We are a publishing company. We have no coders for Cross Fire to be "****ty" to use your word.
We are waiting on Game Guard to fix the problem, the game should run fine once they update their problems.
There are some player made solutions on the internet. Simple google searches will turn up results and discussions from various other games and sources about Game Guard not working with Windows 7.

We can't condone the use of any 3rd party program however, so use at your own risk. There is information on that program on that wiki site.
For now, GG has handcuffed us and we can only sit and wait. [/FONT] -
