Depends on the fighting style. In GM, when my M4 silver isn't working for me, I use a Shotgun. Wish I got the jackhammer, but BM is all luck.

One of the silenced M4A1s, I'll prefer the M4A1 Custom Crystal since in ghost mode you will spray a lot.

i jus started playin GM and I am "aiight" in it....but when in GR, i tried AK Knife and M4s with silencers and other guns but i gotta say..my best is shotguns that are 1-2 shots!!! wenever som1 is near, i randomly shoot them and they are dead!!! lol

shotguns are for luckers,and best gm weps are with silencer,i usually use m4 silver since i cant get m4 patrio in 50 crates..and spray for nabs u cant hear a ****,bes wep in gm is ears and skill,thats all i can say..

Dont forget to buy the extra clip of ammo for your rifle. Comes in handy.

Anything Silenced thank you , I use rifles because they have more stopping power , the Ak47-knife/Mauser combo is just too much fun in ghost mode when there are sprayers in the room and I dont have to worry about being Quiet

These are my favorite guns to play GM take you pick.

Guns:

1. M4A1 (Very solid gun choice, works very well in all modes.)
2. K2
3. AUG
4. MP5
5. FAMAS
6. SCAR HEAVY (Back in the day, this gun was very very popular in GM.)
7. XM1014/Dual Desperado (The best shotties to use in GM.)
8. TYPE89 (The closest thing you will get to a suppressed gun, that's GP for GM.)
9. WINCHESTER - SCOPE (Amazing gun if you can aim or lead your target, high 1hit chance.)
10. G36K (A SMG gone Assault Rifle, this gun has a great sight, high rof and owns face.)
11. XM8 (Can anyone say WALLBANG?)
12. AK47 (Loud and high recoil, however great damage, only tap or 2-3 shot burst.)

Side Arms:

1. USP/P228
2. DEagle
3. ANACONDA

Melee:

1. KNIFE
2. AXE

The guns/sidearms/melee I did not mention maybe are good for GM, but may be considered noobish to use or loud as heck.

I didn't mention sniper rifles because well, unless your in a small game like a 4 on 4 or a 5 on 5 there will be too many ghosts, and unless your god mode with it, and can quick scope like a champ, you won't do much good. You will find yourself switching to your sidearm most of the time, because let's face it, ghosts are not going to sit still and let you zero in on them and pull the trigger, many experienced ghosts will bhop circles around you and split your skull open in a millisecond and just float away.

uhm i would prefer some silence gun IF you listen to the steps and ghost breath. Shotgun for most short distance spray 1-2 hits kill instant. DO NOT use m60 or any loud spray guns. You'll kill yourself and others who try to listen too. Only lucky if you spray and get something. But best use silence gun, headphones(good ones better), and have a team that isn't spraying like shiet.

The more sprays a team has the less likely it is to win in GM. Even tho I go say 20/3 in a 5 round GM game we still lose 0/5 because couldn't hear the ghost and defend the defuser because of the spray.

spray is annoying for BL but for GR is good. BL like to stand and wait until u past them and stab u from behind, and they will wait even until the match finish. i spam with USP all over the place and i got 3 headshots( all golden)

I use my M4-C most of the time. Though I do like to use AK-Knife and BC Axe from time to time. Spaz and Winchester work well too. Uzi pi'sses the ghosts off.

If you pinpoint, and activate tryhard mode, Patriot or Spring m4 are indeed best as they are silenced and reload quickest while having that nice 35 ammo clip. For NOOBS, Thompson is best maybe since it isnt as loud as a freaking ak or m14, recoil is tolerable, and has enough ammo to handle those epic sprays you need the second you hear any sign of breath. Or if you don't hear breath who cares? Spray just in case there is some guy in front of you 50m away. For fun Vatav knows what is going on with ak-knife and Gatling.
