New Ghost Mode Drafts
So as many know, I (mark) was fired from the TTTR GM drafts (which i founded, as a matter of fact) because a few LTs of the clan didnt like me. They had Drafts the last two days, and without me they frankly didnt know what they were doing. So now, there will be a whole new set of drafts Weekends at 7:00PM EST, the Sanctus/Contagion GM draft. We know what we are doing, and it will be an altogether better experience than the TTTR GM drafts.
The ruleset will be the same as previous drafts, Axe/Knife only, BD allowed, only OP weps such as ScarL, m12, m14, and all MGs will be disallowed. yadi yadi ya... you all know the drill.

No mate, that's not my point. I'd understand your efforts on making GM competitive if it was a year ago or even two. Pretty sure the mode died out once March of the Ghosts has ended. Or the GM cups ran by ESL-NA. You'd make the CF world better if you and your buddies moved onto S&D.
All in all, GM is only meant for pubs and pure entertainment now. Not competitive play, sorry.

IMO cf is bad.. the only reason why i play cf is because of Ghost Mode and thats what separates it from other FPS games out there. -

But you've got absolutely no right to call me bad or call me out on sucking at GM. I've been a LT and co-leader of Pan[th]ers for a way longer period than you could possibly imagine. I've had a chance to play with players from GM scene you could only dream of playing with, back in 2010. Add making one of the top GM clans that ever existed to the list, along with saintdanny, saintMalice and others, called 'HelloKitties'. I still remember the times when we, Pan[TH]erS, dominated literally everyone with only 8 members in the clan. Showing everyone how is Ghost Mode meant to be played, back when bunnyhopping took some sort of skill, time and effort to master.
I'm not telling you to stop the drafts, I'm telling you to stop trying to make GM competitive, because you're going to fail just like dozens of others, who tried it before you. Including myselfalthough ive heard the line "drafts arent competitive" allllll the time. we always get a good 4-6 teams, and its fun, so why should we stop?

Ah, someone told me the exact same thing you've said and he was s5 of panthers during MOTG, and its true, GM is not going to be as popular as Search and Destroy. But listen, There are good gmers coming out. New ones just as good and even BETTER then the old ones. Dude you haven't seen these Ghost moders man. People say Ching was the best, But honestly they say that cause they compared their skill to his. Right now i bet you there are 10 Gm players better then Ching and the others pros back in the days. Im not trolling or saying Ching is bad just an example. The people that want GM to be competitive are the people that are passionate about Ghost mode. They probably never experienced MOTG, and what to really experience it. You cant really say they cant can you?
