In terms of technical music skill jazz is extremely difficult due to it because such a precariously difficult genre to play to. The time signatures are generally odd, and you have to play with just the right amount of force and power to make it just flow in the often small venues without being drowned out.

jelly roll is one of the only rappers who keep it real. maybe thats why hes not well known. mainstream rap = actors

Why are you using such general terms for genres?

There are tons of subgenres in each genre, you can't really choose one "good" artist for the whole genre.
