Breaking Weapon?

We all know a good way to earn GP. Break your M16 or M700. And technicly its not broken it just becomes un-useable/un-equipable if you dont repair it.

But I recently heard if you do manage to "break" a weapon (through long hours of playing and not repairing xp) the game gives you 10,000 gp to repair the weapon.

That seems like a good deal Saved repair money + 10,000 gp. but it sounds to good to be true.

So, do you actualy gain some sort of GP bonus if you render your weapon un-useable?

ya ^^ I got my M700 to 15% accuracy decrease and my black market K2 down to 5% accuracy decrese ^^

you dont know if they give a gp bonus if u do greak them though??

i always repair my weapons.. i hate the yellow bar that means you need to repair it..

i broke my m16, im not a big sniper so it will take some time with my m700 :P ill just go to s&d and drop it XD

It depends on weapon type. Most rifles give you 10k, most SMGs only 2500. Sniper rifles also 10k. (I guess, because it takes me a week to kill it to ~50% and then they're gone (BM AWM/PSG))
SCAR H gives 2500. SG552 also. MP5 Halloween 10k. these 3 are the 3 and only exceptions I know, cuz I didn't kill any non-obtainable-via-crates-gun yet lol
Which means yes, if you get 2 guns from crates you should make some free money with the crates (2x10k vs 16k for 10 crates, unless you only get 2500GP-worth-guns and/or you can't stand the dropping accuracy)

You get free compensation after every match to repair the damage you did to your gun during the game. Now most people don't try to repair the M16 and BM guns because you can get free money out of them due to the compensation. By the time you break your M16 and you haven't repaired, you have just earned 10000GP. This is why you should use your M16 at the start right up until breaking point, so you have more GP to buy kick ass equipment.
